Taeil is such a good singer but Ken's voice is more resonant, stable and clean. he can both be tenor and bass and that's his advantage. They both did a really good job tho.
The wild part is that neither of them produced resonance and Taeil is the better vocalist. Ken just happened to get the more liberal part of the chorus.

If you will listen to them, Taeil brings the emotion of the song while Ken filled you up with the song. It's a great combination. Both are great. I'm not really into Block B (Yes, I'm a Starlight) but you cannot underrate Taeil's voice and range. I know Ken has a very powerful and unique style so listening to this song, I feel like you can't get enough. People have their own preferences and they might leave a comment here saying "Taeil is better" or "Ken is awesome" but at the end of the day, you really can't compare them because they have their own way of showing their talent. Fighting for these two talented people! I hope VIXX and Block B will be more popular in the future. ^-^

I've been a fan of Ken ever since VIXX's debut , such a beautiful and smooth voice , i can literally listen to him sing all day!! On the other hand, I dont listen to Block B much or Taeil's voice in general but i do love his voice too!!
my baby Taeil aww i personally prefer him, but i have to admit Ken seemed more comfortable with the high notes and the overall style of the song! They both did amazing!!!!

the only problem is Taeil stucked on the first part of the chorus and he is inside its loop wherein its cycle with the same note(if he change or play with the melody the arrangement of the whole chorus will change too). While Ken on the other part played his card very well making sure he will get the upperhand. Both delivered well and outstanding tho. Kudos to these 2 amazing vocalist.

taeil voice is so beautiful and so melodious. i really like his techniques and he is so cute!! i rarely hear him sing but i have listen to his songs before. but jaehwannie (ken) voice is so breathtaking that i was unable to decide which on is better. omo i might listen to more block b and ofcourse as a starlight im cheering for this two to collab again!!
I might be super biased here, but I believe that Ken is one of the best singer among his peers of idols. I'm always amazed by his ability to easily hit the high notes and twisting the melody to make any songs as his own.
Kens voice is way too perfect. Just perfect. I love Taeil as well- his voice is so honey, it suits songs that have a mellow(?) tempo/feel to it better.

wow i have to say, ken's voice never disappoints. taeil did great too and im personally a fan of his tone (he has this uhh 'handsome' tone to his voice, i cant think of any other way to put it HAHA) but this song choice favoured ken's soulful voice more. anyways both of them are great singers, and im glad theyre getting more recognition!! :)

Ken owned this which should be expected if anyone had seen DSF (it's the first song he sang with his partner). He sang it cleanly and with the thought of harmonizing properly with Taeil by taking the lower notes. He even gave Taeil a chance to execute another high note (4: 30) but since Taeil is already on a higher register he couldn't run with it and opted to start lower. It gave Jaehwan a chance to lead the song in the end, to which they both ended beautifully. This is like the tamest battle LOL unlike the ladies coming at each other (which isn't a bad thing sometimes, watch Maria battle)
it was an equal battle tbh, they're both equally talented and balance eachother out 👏
They both sang so well! tbh I think Ken had a slight advantage since he's sung this song on duet festival before, but they were both amazing~
I personaly think that Ken Oppa has more of a upper hand in singing the song, aside from having a versatile voice he had already perform the song if you watch the Duet Song Festival so he already know when to twist or change the melody. but i also like the voice of Teil. Both of them did a really good job. 😊😊

i had not realized ken had already sung this song on duet song festival. since he'd had previous experience singing this song, that's why he was able to take liberties with the melody to suit his vocal prowess better. i definitely prefer his changes vs how he sung it on duet song festival (which i'm assuming is closer to the original). ken is definitely a natural born singer

Ken slightly stole the show. His singing was clean, stable, and effortless. However, personally I liked Taeil's singing a bit more. Although Taeil was less stable, for me I think he has more emotions or whatever it is in his voice that always makes emotional when I listen to him. It was hard to choose who was better because they both sounded beautiful
98beti Esp taeils part in the chorus right before ken....it gave me chills. I think his voice suits this song more. Ken was soulful and taeil was emotional.

Taeil did a great job singing the song similar to the original but Ken took it a step further and made the song his own, which he did damn well too!

I clicked on this video because the background of that person showed on thumbnail seems familiar. I wonder if it's Ken and so I clicked on this and so excited that he is indeed Ken!! haha! Ken is my favorite main vocalist in VIXX but slowly liking Leo's as well but Ken will always be my favorite. He likes to change the style to suit his own style in order to enhance his vocals. So proud of him! Whenever he hits that high notes, I got goosebumps. He is so good!! Love you Ken!!

I really did like both of them, though! I actually checked out Taeil after this because I liked his voice a lot.

Both have beautiful voices, but you can notice who can really own the song and make it like their own. Interpretation is vital, and Ken just always has an amazing way of owning every song he sings.

I love Ken, but I think the distribution of lines were too unfair, Taeil always gets the 1st part of the chorus where he it is hard to make adlibs while Ken gets the second part which is easy to have adlibs. I love them both. Still, congratulations to Ken :)

I had heard of both of these two before but had never listened to their voices. Taeil's singing is so sweet and rich with emotion, it's amazing. And don't even get me started on Ken, that's such talent right there. His high notes seem effortless and his voice is so unbelievably strong (which is why I think it suited this song more).
Im crying, I love Taeil so it hurt me a lot when he fell. As much as Ken is talented I have more of a emotional connection to Taeil.
