I think he's the type to not risk hard runs when he's unprepared, and he was given a surprise song. Also, this show is not only judged by skill but by performance and emotions. SO underdogs win all the time! Sometimes bad singers beat good singers due to being funny

She didnt talked about Sejong. She just stated the fact that in this show there's episodes that sometime the bad singers won because they are more entertaining when singing like being funny as Sayuri did. Sayuri actually couldnt sing well but she is sooo funny so people like her when she go on stage.

One of the best korean Idols of this generation of kpop.
She began her journey on a korean music reality show Produce 101 and because of her godly vocals, she placed second and became the part of the project girl groul IOI (Which was a big deal in SK).. She is not only known for her unique vocals but also her unique and easy going personality that is appreciated in korean variety show. She played a lead in drama 'School 2017' and is a member of Netflix original korean variety show ' busted'. She has a strong bubbly presence and is loved in the korean entertainment industry. After IOI stopped their activities, she became a part of girl group gugudan. Her popular songs are 'flower way' (produced by Zico) and plant (current and trending).

They are no professional people. The are just common people. You know, the single/album sales are not depend on the quality of singers. Often people who actually really good singer got low single/album sale and singers with average voice got many sales. Its the same with this show. The winners not must the better singer, but the one who more entertaining when singing.
