36:37 quick clarification on catapult moves - You stop when a gate is controlled* by another player, not necessarily if the gate has enemy ships. So if there is a gate with one red ship and one blue ship, you can still catapult through them until you reach a planet
This is by far the best rules video I've seen on this game so far. I really think the scripting really helps to teach new players as well. Might do the same when trying to teach my friends.
what happens to your resources and captured pieces once you use them to score ambitions? are resources "spent" to score ambitions or is it just a matter of counting how much you have in stock? thanks again for this video, so far its been the most helpful resource for learning the game!
You say if three players tied for first place in an ambition nobody would score points. I think that is a mistake. The rules read all players that tied for first place score second place, even three or four players that are tied.
Can you clarify something on spending resource(s). So is part of your prelude not only adding them to your played card, but also using the action associated with the resource(s)? Your actions from your resources must be done during your prelude? You referred to it as you cant mix and match some action from a card, and then your resource, but could I do all actions on a card and then resolve resources actions, or must they be used during your prelude?
Here is a breakdown... After you play an action card from your hand the prelude begins. Prelude ends when you take any actions from that action card. Before doing action card actions you may do any number of prelude actions -Generally card abilities and resource actions. - You cannot do action card actions and then do prelude actions on your turn. It must always be -prelude actions first, then action card actions.
I want to -but no promises. Over the next week I intend on doing a live action Campaign teach. -I waited for the copy before recording because a lot of the setup and takedown is very specific.
Its mind boggling, that a small channel HAD to be the one to put the only decent video tutorial on this .. shocking even. I've been interested in it's design, as people claim it be a fixed-Oath.. not because I actually want to play it. From an outsider's point of view, it seems over-designed and cluttered.
A 1 hour tutorial! No way any of my friends are gonna watch that. Sadly, I'll have to wait for something a LOT shorter for them. I will likely watch this video, so thanks. Salman
Comment on this Thread for Rules Errors or Clarifications!
-When Ransacking the Court only secure 1 card that has defending rival agents.

Captives and Trophies are returned after scoring. Resources are kept ~not spent to score.
@@ianpowell7849 thank you!

Do you have plans at all to go over the expansion?
