Safer Laser Engraving with an Enclosure from Brovr

- Most Diode lasers on the market share one big problem, they are all open-frame lasers that offer no protection from light reflections or the smoke and debris created by the laser engraving and cutting process. Not everyone has the time, tools, or ability to build an enclosure so I like to test various options to help you find one that will work for you.
BROVR sent us this enclosure, which has some upgrades from others, such as LED lighting, a 4-inch exhaust port, and an integrated 80mm fan! Check out this video for our tests and thoughts on how this enclosure can help you stay safe while using your diode laser.

Great idea about the battery pack to power the LED's. I'm going to use that with my enclosure.
They work well! I have a few other these around for when I'm traveling or camping to keep LED lights and my cell phone going!

Sure, I have the TrippLite version linked below. I've tried some cheaper models but the switches started to fail on me after not a lot of use. It's very useful for things like LED lights, air assist pumps and vent fans. amzn.to/3rq6tuJ

Is it high enough for a camera to use with lightburn
A wide angle camera might work in here, it’s just a bit short for the standard 8mp camera most people use with lightburn.
Where do your fumes exhaust to?
I have a vent that goes outdoors. I use the 4” flexible pipe to connect the enclosure to the vent.
