  • This documentary follows Kenyan runner Geoffrey (Kipsang) Kamworor, where it all began! Born in Keiyo on 22 November 1992 - when he was about to debut as a marathon runner. Expectations were high: it was thought that he will run a very good time at his first race. On 20 March 2011 he took the Gold Medal at the IAAF World Junior Cross Championships in Punta Umbria and he is one of the elite runners that has ran a half-marathon in less then an hour. We follow him from humble beginnings in his home country and at the training camp in Kaptagat, with his coach, Patrick Sang as he prepares for the international events and the chance to represent his country.
In 2018 he won his third straight half marathon world championship in Valencia in 1:00:02. Also in 2018 Kworor placed third in the 2018 New York City Marathon with a time of 2:06:26 behind the first and second place Ethiopian runners Lelisa Desisa and Shura Kitata.
Geoffrey Kipsang Kamworor came 2nd after Biwott in the TCS New York City Marathon, one of the biggest marathons in the world. He was also focused on beating Mo Farah in the 10K - and in the last World Championships he won silver, just after Mo.Facebook -

22:36 I am so pleased to see that God is welcomed to everyone in Kenya. That they pray before an event. That's the problem in some places they took God out of things. We may all have our own beliefs in God but why does he/she/it have to be shushed and not praised in public anymore without someone getting offended. IDK what happened along the way but it's part of the problem when we let people remove God from daily life....ahhhhhmen to that....with out believing in something what else do we have?
