I haven’t used the bypass in a while myself. I have on occasion had to bump it with my fist when it is time for it to engage the lock. I have taken my finger nail and pulled the little plastic plunger out and pushed back in multiple times. Recently I have also had some trouble with the plastic plunger not disengaging at the end of the cycle. I have bumped it with my fist on top of the door but above the lock and it disengages.

Thank you, but just remove the lock part from the lid and place in the hole it works fine goes thru all cycles. Put in safe place and that's it no wires cut just remove 2 screws that hold in and place inside like it would normally look close lid if like or leave open and it will work fine.

After tricking the switch for a while it’s back working normal again. I have hit it with my fist on the lid about the time it is supposed to trigger, and that has worked also at times.
