Listened to this song a lot too during the most difficult year of my life when I was really struggling to deal with my anxiety and depression. I spent a lot of time alone, but yearned to be around people. I was too anxious and depressed to reach out for help. One of the only things that eased my loneliness during that time was knowing God was still there for me.
It is so awesome to hear a man confess his faith to a audience that looks up to him, and to play songs like this, I have a lot of respect for you

This is one of so many songs that have spoken to my broken heart and crushed spirit, as my son serves time in prison. The early morning I found the love of my life had hung himself. Now as I am coming up on a year since my car was totalled in a car wreck and I lost my job as a result. My Lord has never stopped loving me and making a way...... thank you for sharing Billy. 💕

This actually is my FAVORITE Casting Crowns song despite it being a slow ballad. The message is powerful & was very personal to Mark Hall the lead singer as he wrote this while battling kidney cancer (he's in remission now thank God!). Every time I've seen them I wait to hear this song....

This band ministry is incredible. They are the youth pastors at their church and don’t tour or play shows on days that interfere with their local church ministry. True dedication. The lead vocalists testimony is powerful. It’s on RUclips.

Glad u liked it billy. It came out not long after i lost my mom. I struggled and not healthily. It helped me lay it down. Tho i find myself picking it back up and struggling again till i lay it down to god. One of these days it will stay down lol. Btw ive been enjoying your sundays. Its like going to church🌹
It came out right around the time I got my son's autism diagnosis. That and MercyMe's "Even if" became my anthems in those early days of uncertainty.

I'm crying tears for Jesus has been with me every step of the broken way through my 54 years. There's no denying God the Father, Jesus my Savior and the Holy Spirit of God. I have physically felt God's presence as I cried out to Him on my knees with a humble heart. I still have trials and tribulations like Jesus said we would but I know He is with me. I'm not alone.

GOD is speaking to his children thru song so any one that says they never hear his audible voice....well I give you his music 🤴. Tell Your Heart to Beat Again, by Danny Gokey, saved my life - it kept me going when my husband of 24 years died. I wouldn't have made it if not for that song.
The group, Big Daddy Weave has some AMAZING songs as well. Their best video is Overwhelmed, which was video taped when they went to rural Africa, and has village girls singing backdrop in the end of the video.

What the ballerina has been doing is called interpretive dance. It's dance that's literally coordinated with the words AND rhythm. I got their very first album back in early 2000's. They're so real, there's a song called While You Were Sleeping. If you watch it, see the longer video it has the unabridged version.

Other great songs from Casting Crowns are "Who Am I", "East to West" and "Broken Together" (among many others). You might find it interesting to know that when Casting Crowns began in 1999 every band member was directly involved in youth ministry.

Woah.. After hearing their songs since I was a child, this is the first time I ever actually saw the singer's face.
I believe he wrote this song after he was diagnosed with cancer, not sure if it is true , but i did read that somewhere, and the song is his battle and shock through the whole ordeal.
He struggled through a cancer diagnosis and having a kidney removed because of it. This song is the result of that time in his life.
There is no such thing as a bad Casting Crowns song. If you watch the movie Courageous (phenomenal movie) that title song is by them.
Third Day is another amazing group. their music is just perfection. Cry Out To Jesus and the video will rock your world. Beautiful song. Thief, (2005 version) song about one of the thieves on the cross next to Jesus who asked Jesus to remember him in His kingdom. Love Song, Lift Up Your Face, Kicking and Screaming, Your Love Oh Lord, Soul On Fire, This Is Who I Am.

One of their older videos with an upbeat message is, “Until the Whole World Hears”, please add this one to your list for Casting Crowns. Also, if you decide to listen to their song “Courageous” please take time to watch the movie this song was tailored for, it goes by the same name “Courageous”.

Thank you. I have heard this song before and I love it. But, today, I needed to hear this so badly. I am 71 years old. I have smoked since I was 9 and the LORD has told me that I have to stop. I know that I can't on my own. Fear that I will fail to do what HE asked has led me to the brink. This reassured me that HE will be with me and HE never fails.

I listened to this song a lot during the most difficult year of my life, when I was struggling with anxiety and depression. I was alone a lot and I was aching, but God was there to help me through it.
I took dance lessons growing up ( ballet, tap, jazz, pointe I did it all). Nothing professional or anything like that, but weekly lessons from 2 1/2 years old until I was 14.
Thank you so much for reacting to this song. I'd not watched the video before now, though I love the song. I just lost my husband last summer after many years of sickness. I am now raising our four kids and taking care of my elderly mother. I know that God has never left me or forsaken me, but some days the burden feels so heavy. Seeing you react to the words helped me focus on the lyrics and the message. I am literally crying and trembling right at how God is working in my heart. Thank you so much for being such a blessing to me. You make me laugh with your reactions; (I still can't believe you didn't recognize Patty Labelle), but you also let the Lord use you to speak into people's lives. Praying for God to continue to use you and bless you and direct you in your life.

was looking for a song to kind of encourage me and lift me up and you doing a reaction to this song I stopped because I did suggest it also and I love this song! I made a screen capture of the part where it says, " The place where fear has to face the God you know" last year sometime and pasted it to my Facebook as my cover photo. This song, "Just Be Held" and Mercy Me's "Even If" have gotten me through a lot of heartache, grief, depression just pain in life in general. Those are just a few of the songs that I listen to to carry me through. Riley Clemmons "Broken Prayers" and Selah's " Broken Ladders". I could keep on going on LOL, because music more times has meant more to me and helped me than a sermon. I really enjoyed your reaction Billy and that you just kept it simple at the end. I too have had many instances, whete God just showed me I wasn't alone, fulfilled promises of impossibility that others didn't believe would happen. We are not alone, even though the enemy of our soul tries to convince us of that.
Id like to see your reaction to what i would consider one of the old guard of contemporary christian music Steven Curtis Chapmen. A good start would be his song Cinderella.
