“His arms spread wide where mine should be.” Hits me every time. Every time I listen to it, I have to physically stop the song to keep myself from crying. It’s so true, we don’t deserve it, but He saved us from death. Thank you God. Thank you Jesus.

This song speaks to me because most religions leave me cold, but when I fell head over heels in love with Jesus my life changed and every day is full of joy! May the Lord bless you richly!

Billy, that was me. It wasn't this particular song that I've requested for years, it's gospel music in general. I don't know how I missed this reaction, because I'm pretty consistent in watching you. I just chose this specific song, because it resonates with me so deeply. Thank you GOD, for Red Letters. For those who may not know, those are the words in the bible, written in red. The actual words of God. I don't have a "religion" so to speak, those are all man-made. God is not a religion. But I know 100% He is real, and Jesus Christ is my Savior. Okay, so I went and pulled up this song and listened to it without interruption because before the chorus I had tears streaming down my cheeks. I have not heard of this band before, but then again I listen a more southern gospel style but, I really liked this band! I loved this song so much!! It spoke to my soul and reminded me that no matter what battles I'm facing Jesus still loves me for HE has set me FREE! Thank you for whom ever suggested this song, and thank you Billy for being bold enough to play it and stand up for Christ!

i too love it. when i first heard this and he said "then i read the red letters", it took me a second, but then wow it hit me what it meant. thank you Jesus. crowder does a few that i really like. come as you are, being one. also if you haven't heard it, another one is big daddy weave singing, i am redeemed, very worthwhile listen.

the david crowder bands version is great, but I personally think the original is best. John Mark MacMillan wrote it. If you havent seen his testimony about it, it is powerful. Its all about declaring gods love even when your brain is telling you He doesnt.
Also theres an extra verse in the original that occurs after the song 'ends'

David Crowder the leader of Crowder did a concert where I live. After the concert without telling anyone he walked to a local homeless shelter in our town and did a two hour free concert for everyone at the shelter. He didn't tell his band or anyone he just wanted to serve God. No one found out about it until the day after he left town. He reminds me a lot of Rich Mullins in his humility.

Ok, so I’ve been watching all of your videos in no particular order, and it’s funny that this one came up today. I’ve been struggling mightily with my relationship with God lately. Not in my faith. Lack of belief isn’t the issue. At least not in God, but in myself. And it’s funny that you mentioned that you had a plan for your channel and God had His own. I’ve been stalling on starting my own channel because I don’t see myself being able to pull it off, but when I DO pony up and do it, it won’t be ME doing a damn thing. I should probably just stop screwing around and dive in and let God run with it. Anyway, point is, thanks for being so open about your beliefs and feelings. I needed this one today.
Give it all to God brother, we are weak but he is strong. Jesus said "It is finished" before he died on the cross. We all struggle but Jesus has us no matter what. We try to walk in the spirit but sometimes our flesh wins. The struggle of Paul in Romans 7. But thank you be God our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
