I love the realness of this video. I watch so many tutorials for various things and its usually middle aged, uppity stay at home moms who talk to us like we are kindergartners who don't know anything. but this is perfect !

Hi! to get your cricut to cut out the image after your print the waterslide decal and seal it, use matte scotch magic tape and place it over the outline of the black box. the cricut will be able to read the sensor marks! It took me a week to finally get that figured out lol
Loved seeing the use of a airbrush, inks, and decals. This was one area I haven’t seen a lot of videos of. I love using a airbrush so thank-you! Very nicely done and loved the tumbler.
I wish I had watched this video before I tried to do my first waterslide today. I have watched several videos on doing this but your video made more since to me than the others that I watched. I did mess my 1st one up but now to try again. Thank you so much.
Omg! I went through tons of water slide paper and could figure out why on earth it wasn’t printing properly and I strolled across your video. I had no idea about the system dialogue option. Thank you sooooo much!!♥️♥️
I was having issues getting my Cricut to cut the waterslide as well. However, I figured out that if you trace the black border with a black permanant marker, it registers the registrations marks. Works every time. Love your videos! Now if only I can get really good at not wrinkling it while transferring it! And you just taught me how to get to the print dialog box on my Mac! You're awesome!
@@DuncanCustomAirbrush Really? That's is super odd, I just trace it, wait a min, let it dry, load it and I hover over the machine so that the room lighting is kinda blocked. I fought with it for days because I do not have the patience to be cutting stuff by hand! lol
I watched a young lady on RUclips recently that revealed a few cricut hacks she learned from tic toc. The registration marks are easier to read by your machine on glossy papers if you lay clear MATTE scotch (or equivalent) tape on top of them. This has worked for me on ANY glossy paper. The matte tape reduces the glare caused by the light bouncing off of the gloss similar to a mirror and flashlight.
I had no idea you can move the images around on the cut screen!!!!!!! I’ve wasted so much paper because I couldn’t get more than two images sometimes. Dang!!! I’m excited !!
I had no idea you could move the images like that!! Thanks for figuring that out for us! You're the #1 tumbler making YT channel! I'm always recommending your page in FB tumbler groups. Thanks for making learning so fun. Lol 🤜
Fantastic tutorial! I was having issues with printing out my waterslides from my laptop. Wasted so many waterslide sheets 🤦🏻♀️ Now I know to turn on system dialog 😂 thank you so much for that tip ❤️
EXCELLENT VIDEO... and lots of fun too (Not Boring at all). Question: Now that it has been over 2 years... are you still using your EPSON 7100... and if not... what would recomded for a good printer for making Tumblers and T-shirts?
Great video as usual. I enjoy your videos more than most others I’ve seen. Jumping into airbrushing as well very soon thanks to your videos. One side note, the Silhouette does much more and easier for folks like us. Give one a try and I think you’ll agree. Thanks again!
Love your work, love the humor and thanks for inspiring me!! When you upload your image you can edit your images and then your cricut will give you an option of printing the images and cutting or both. Once you print your images on the printer put your images on your green mat (least stickiest mat) and click the arrow feed aka pointer and then the cricut button feed on your cricut maker and cricut cuts your images for you precisely, that's why your images are in the frame around your images so it makes it's measurements to cut.
Duncan Custom Airbrush try turning the light off in the room. If the paper has to much reflection from light than it should Cricut have a hard time reading and won’t be able to measure.
@@DuncanCustomAirbrush my print and cut broke at one point and wouldn't read the lines.. when you put on the mat DON'T put right to the top left corner of mat.. put half an inch across to the right.. try it and let me know if have success
Love love love this tumbler!! Have you tried scotch tape the matte or satin one on the lines for print then cut? I saw a tutorial on it. Im about to try it because that seriously drives me nuts!! I've tried EVERYTHING as well!! Also, Plasti-dip after clear coat really makes the waterslide much more pliable. I still seal with matte clear first though 3x then plast-dip 2x

I'm not reading through 500+ comments😳. First, I love your videos. Found you today on accident, when I was looking for something else. Second, the black line around the pictures prints so that when you put it back in the cricut, it reads where the lines are, and knows where to cut. Hi!! So glad I ran into your channel! I have one question, Did you do a first layer of epoxy before applying the water slide or is it just prepped and spray painted and water slide?
Would love the airbrush but don’t know how and that’s very expensive equipment to learn on.😩 Update: I bit the bullet and ordered the airbrush from your link. I love watching your videos and doing my personal challenge. On another note, I tried the Dawn and paint method. It worked! Hated the colors that I used, the mineral didn’t get all the paint off so I reverted back to acetone. On my way to Lowe’s for new paint colors. I have to prefect to teach my students at school. Keep making videos and I’ll keep watching. Thank you!
Hey! I have a clear water slide decal paper! So the little spots you can’t cut out will be clear! Just thought I’d mention it! Lol I’ve learned so much from you and so many technics! Lol
You can take mate tape from the dollarstore and tape over the black lines and the cricut will.cut it🙂 and a silicone make up spatula works great on the bubbles and wrinkles
Hey, so I saw on someone else's video that the black square line that prints is so that you can put it back into your circuit and it uses that black line to see where your images are and it cuts them for you so you don't have to use your exacto knife!
oh man needless to say for the millionth time you’re so funny, those little high pitch voices you make you sound like eric cartman btw. Great job, great printing quality, great touch. Thats it 🤜🏻🤛🏻
You can add a shape in cricut and set the dimensions to 9.25x6.75. Whatever you can get to fit you can print. Just delete the rectangle when you’re done. Easy way to maximize your paper

@@DuncanCustomAirbrush Of course, I love the look. And always love watching. You crack me up so it keeps me interested. Plus Ive never seen anyone do the paint spray. My mom used to do that when she made cakes. Beautiful. Might need to try that one. =)
My tip for print and cut is to make a box on the cricut program that is 6.75" in width and 9.25" height and then fill the box with images remove the box and then flatten the images. This helps you waste the least amount of space.
