    I only discovered your channel last night as inspiration for my 1275GT restoration. Waking up this morning to see a new video posted is a good start to a Sunday 👍

    Thank you so much for this video. I love the way you don't talk in your videos and you get straight to business, which is what is really lacking in many videos on RUclips. Keep up the great work and I look forward to more of your videos.

    Pleased I stumbled upon your channel, watched all of the videos today and enjoyed all of them, some good skill on show. Can't believe how well the plastic parts came up they look brand new. Really looking forward to seeing the full resto completed. You really deserve more views than you have got so far.

      @@restoringaclassic9489 did you remove it from the car like that ? I tought some the carburator or alternator should already be removed to extract it.

    • @restoringaclassic9489
      @restoringaclassic9489  2 года назад

      Hi @Chris, indeed, I've put the carb and other parts on there again for the video, that's why the bolts and flywheel get out so easy 😂 I think it should be possible to remove the engine without removing the alternator etc., but I've never done it that way. It's always nice to have some clearance to remove it :)

    Love to see an overview of your 25 to see it's overall condition. Was your 25 blue original, 99% are silver leaf but there is thought to be a handful that where blue in Paint code JNF

    another great clip. what are your plans with the engine? beside the checkups and replacements.
    are you going for a full clean and new paint for all parts like in your other clips?

    • @restoringaclassic9489
      @restoringaclassic9489  2 года назад +3

      Thanks Frans! I'm indeed going for a full clean (will check if it's possible to sandblast the outside, not sure if I can seal everything up really good). I also bought some yellow engine paint for the rebuild. I didn't decide yet if the cleaning and painting will be in a video, but the assembly of the engine will be ;)

      @@restoringaclassic9489 I would not mind seeing some of the parts being cleaned and rebuild like the other clips of yours. But I do understand it will cost alot of extra time to film it all

      Hi Frans, I will keep this in mind when cleaning the parts 😋 I will need to make some protection for my studio lights, as I don't want them to be covered in paint 😂

    Hi RAC - hope all is well with you sir. Really missing the great videos you have put out. Have you anything planned in the future? Apologees if you are not in a position to do any, but just thought I would let you know that you are appreciated - all the best. 👍

      Thanks Datsunruss! The Mini is on hold for the moment... I'm building a campervan and I don't have enough space to do both projects at once. I hope I can start the Mini project again soon, I think it will take another month to finish the van. Sorry for the long delay in videos 🙂
