Is it possible to record with a preset limiter set to -18 db so as not to saturate the voice? I work alone so I can’t look at the same time if I’m in the red

Record with a limiter? I’m not sure you should record with a limiter, but maybe just use it in post. Why would you need to record with the limiter? Is it for live production?

Should i add the limiter first plugin on insert or last or in middle

The limiter should be the last plug-in in most cases.
