After all these years I am still amazed at what I don’t know. The basic concepts of jazz are not difficult if you understand the rudimentary concepts of music theory. But I wouldn’t see it unless someone else pointed it out to me. Thanks Mike. Keep it coming, this style of teaching is invaluable for the overall outcome.
Hey Mike, thank you again for another great video. Especially the discussion about weight and density. I think you are the first youtube guitar creator to share this aspect of music in a specific context. I say that this is an overlooked concept that helps guitar sound/style practice as much as learning the "Harris Sound" method.
Hi Mike, I just wanted you to know, how much your approach and delivery has helped and progressed my playing over the last 6 months since I discovered you. Thank you so much. Lance.
Hi Lance! I’m so glad to hear that my videos have made a positive impact on your playing. Keep up the great work, and I can't wait to see your progress!

Hello Terry, Thanks for the feedback, glad you enjoyed the lesson!, All the very best. Mike
Great reharmonization! This sounds very much like Django and the gypsy jazz style. Thanks for the video!
I'm glad you enjoyed the reharmonization! Django's influence is truly timeless, and it's always fun to explore that gypsy jazz vibe.
This was really great stuff, thanks for the lesson!

Thank Mike. Excellent info. Is the idea of using B7 in bar six because the B7 is the V of the E7 which follows ?
Hello Jeremy, yes, you are correct the idea is to create a cycle movement e.g., B7 - E7 - A All the very best. Mike
