Great interview Dave. I interviewed Lisa a couple of years ago. She was a tough interview but one of my favorites ive ever done. Ive also had the pleasure of just sitting on the dock shooting the breeze with her. She is one of the best in the business and Bass is lucky to have her!!

I just put together that Lisa was my first tournament director back in 2005 at a Ross Barnett Weekend Series tournament. Hurricane Rita was passing through and at the anglers meeting, Lisa brought up canceling the tournament and almost got booed off the stage. 😆 We ended up fishing half a day and nobody got hurt.. But I had just turned 16 years old, fishing in the back of a strangers boat with tornado sirens going off... I remember thinking "so this is what tournament fishing is?" 🤔😆 Still fishing tournament to this day. Thanks Lisa!

I met Lisa when I was a Marshal at St. Clair for the AoY back in 2018 I think. No doubt she was the right pick to replace Tripp. She is very professional and her passion for the Elite series is obvious! She was one of the main reasons that my Marshal experience was an awesome experience! Tripp should have canceled that Day 1 though! 🤣🤣 St. Clair was pissed on Day 1! It was like being on a mechanical bull in a pissed off washing machine!

Glad to meet LT...interesting person...yall gotta figure out how to stream split screen with the fisherman and the forward facing sonar...so we can see the fish on the screen...or maybe the electronic companies should figure it out that would shoot a company ahead with the leagues...
I can say so much as always but will stick with Lisa. I agree with the fact that women can do so much more in fishing and other areas of life. I've always had the highest respect for a woman test pilot I served with in the service. I believe that if you love something enough and put in the work, any job or endeavor is possible. Patty Wagstaff was a world champion aromatics pilot. Woman in professional fishing have always had my support like Savik. The one thing I hate hearing is "oh she's a girl" !!! If their qualified and or talented I'm all in! Looking back, at when the first time my now wife came came to my apartment she ask me if I had a maid. And the dinner I had cooked, what is shocking about a guy being independent? Same is true for women.
It's the only way to look at it. In the ARMY the only time I was out shot on the range, was by a woman with a Colt 45 during qualifications. Beat me by one point. 298/299 of a possible 300 pts.
She is great at her job and we'll respected with the fans too the. Only thing I would recommend is she needs to take advise from Randy blacket and change a few rules hahaha good show Mercer

The interview is not supposed to be about you bud. In the future, ask your guest a question, then shut up… Then ask them another question about their answer… And shut up! …Makes for a better interview.
