This is there first kiss as a couple dating yes there kiss before was a dare they all played truth or dare in detention at school in the library but this is there official first kiss as a couple other kiss when Dawson tries to tell Joey he loves her in his bedroom she kissed him back but they were not a couple yet they were trying to figure it out.
The most iconic moment of the series in my opinion.

I really like how the song in this scene also played at the end of the series when Joey and Pacey dance and kiss at Gale's wedding. Like a full circle moment.
Their romantic moments were just epic. I replayed them couple of times when I was watching the episodes. But now, knowing the ending, watching them is not pleasant anymore :(

As I watch the series again it is so obvious that Dawson loves Joey so much that when they are together Joey tests their relationship all the time. I mean fighting with him about everything when clearly he is absolutely crazy about her. I loved Dawson and Joey together. The ending on the fake show The Creek and the ending for the show. He got to do both. In The Creek, they end up together.

The only problem is Joey and Dawson might be soulmates but they would never work in a relationship. They just didn’t click together as Pacey and Joey were exciting and alive and that made them love each other and them being together forever.

Joey never really wanted Dawson. It was just a fantasy for her. Whenever it got real, she bailed.
Dawson never understood the pain Pacey and Joey had in their lives. And I think they both needed that kind of understanding in order to fully be seen and to truly be loved. To flourish. That's why Pacey and Joey were end game. I think Dawson and Joey were to comfortable being exactly how they were and neither could grow like that with each other. But I appreciate their story and friendship.

I think you don't understand what "chemistry" is. Anyway, it's a poor argument. Every time someone doesn't love a fictive couple, the words are always : "no chemistry !". It has became an easy argument when someone doesn't know what to say.

They were BOTH flawed characters. Not really necessary to put your favourite on some kind of pedestal in order to tear down the other.
They each had great qualities and not so great ones. I don't like Pacey because I believe as a friend he should have never went there but that's my issue.
I just generally don't believe in his relationship with Joey especially how they ended it that time and fully move onto other people while IMO the emotional connection between Dawson and Joey continue on even with their other relationships.
It just no surprise in this day and age that many end up like characters like Pacey more than Dawson.
I just want to believe in the idea, that you can love someone besides all his flaws, and I would have loved to see a friends to lovers couple lasting for a whole series. But the way they continued to write the characters made this relationship impossible, which I find to be very sad
Neither Dawson or Pacey are perfect people. They both were flawed characters, but Dawson was not the screwup Pacey was. Pacey was a screwup. Joey was actually nice with both of them but that’s how their relationship got complicated. Joey was damn sure not perfect.

It didnt make any sense that they werent endgame, I mean they were still in love in season 5 when they slept together and just because Dawson had a fling with someone in LA they never got together again. Then suddenly in Season 6 Joey was in love with Pacey again but they still didnt got together for 5 years. Forget it the whole last seasons were trash

I don't know why....but i can't stand Joey. I felt that she was a selfish narcissist character who let down Dawson time and again. Sure Dawson had his faults, but he don't deserve to be treated that way. Of all the female characters, i think Joey was the most annoying one (with her so called "innocent" girl next door, and guys wanting her attention duh). Jen and Andie were much more real....for dealing with their issues and friendships.
That Joey is similar to Jennifer Aniston's character in Friends due to the fact she manipulated Dawson.

This my Dawson's Creek finale : Jen doesn't die, she meets the right guy for her, he adopts Amy, they stay together forever, but they do not marry, and have no other children, Pacey ends up with a girl who he meets casually on the street, and they also do not marry, but they have one child, Jack ends up with a bautiful greek guy (i don't why lol) and they have twins (a boy and a girl), and as soon as gay marriage becomes legal
in America, the two get married, Andy ends up marrying a nice guy, who is super rich too, but they don't have kids, and Dawson and Joey end up together, married and with three kids !! :) .

i clicked on this video just to read the comments to see if people actually shipped these 2 together since i find it very hard to believe. if i shipped these 2 i wouldve stopped after dawson was so manipulative after he found out about her and Pacey. maybe if Dawson made mistakes like pacey made mistakes with her then i can understand it, but after a while how he treated her just became to much, and im disappointed that people are still rooting for those two

Omg! I was just saying the same thing -- she was doing the kissing and he was just there being kissed. Gross. I've been looking for specific reasons why it's so much better when it's Pacey. I see that one reason (of many) is because there's much more give and take when Pacey and Joey kiss. It's more of a dance. Of course, the biggest reason is just bc Pacey oozes sex appeal. After I watched the whole series, going back and watching Joey and Dawson kiss in the earlier episodes is kind of gross. It feels wrong and incestuous.
