Honestly as a Mercedes owner the running cost isnt that bad i mean it could be better but comparatively to companys like bmw its not that bad you dont have problems everyday. Main problem ive seen is people having the habit of driving it like a sports Mercedes but not pampering it like a Mercedes should be. That an with a N/A v8 you an your local gas station clerk will be on a first name basis

@@stevejones1318 Let’s be honest here, what owner wouldn’t put the hammer down once in a while? Especially in a naturally aspirated 6.2 V8, with an incredible crescendo at the 7K RPM redline. These engines are designed to get a punishing. That’s not to say I thrash it everytime I drive it, because I don’t. A lot of the time I cruise in it, and ride the wave of torque to get up to speed without going over 4K RPM. However, when an appetising road presents itself, then of course the thunder will be unleashed, that’s what these cars are all about!

I own a 2010 204 C63 saloon car, 5 speed auto. It is a wonderful car to own ,drive etc.

The 507’s do look phenomenal, I just think they’re too expensive for what they are, most of the differences are cosmetic and can be done to a regular C63, but I suppose you’re driving something a little more exclusive! @francisong5083 Месяц назад

@@NathanMannin Yes there are some cosmetics but there are also many engine upgrades to get from 450 to 507, then there's the LSD, suspension upgrades, etc so if you only want a few of those items, \upgrades it may be cheaper to get a plain c63 and do the upgrades individually. If you get a 507 then you get all the upgrades, plus factory 'warranty' / engineering and the fact that the car is still completely 'stock'.

I had a Volvo S80 V8 with 17” wheels with FAT sidewalls, it felt like I was gliding through a pillow of clouds, it was so compliant over any bumps, by far the most comfortable car I’ve been in, and the seats in Volvo’s are just like your Grandmothers armchairs 🤣 So jumping back in my C63 did feel like quite a jump in ride comfort, so I understand where you’re coming from. Hello Natan. Love the videos. Dude your last video that showed the pen holder in the glove box and center console, I had no clue about it and ran out to the garage to see if I had it and it does. BTW since I am left hand driver the pen holder is easier to pull out because it's on the right side of center console. The only thing I can not get to work is Tunnel Mode. Dude have you ever had an issue with the driver selector. The other day I hit 52k miles I started my car as usual and for some reason it didn't light up with that little red light and stayed in Comfort mode and no matter how many times I twisted the knob it would go to sport, sport+ etc. However after I parked it for a few hours it came back. BTW about MPG. I drive in Sports+ everytime. so my overall MPG is 10.7 mpg and Average is 9.5 mpg. LOL I don't think I drive it too hard, but some say I drive it like an AMG Test Driver. LOL LOL LOL right now gas is $5.45 per Gallon. LOL I am not disappointed in my MPG as you pointed out if I do want better MPG and leave it in Comfort."C" on the twist dial. I do recall seeing on a forum somewhere it might’ve only been on European cars only, but don’t quote me on that, so if your car isn’t European, then maybe that’s why? I also had that intermittent issue a couple of times where the drive mode selector stops working, I had to leave it a few hours like yourself, and then it started working again. I know a few other C63 owners who’ve had the same problem, it’s just a weird glitch which fixes itself after being off for a while.
