As a new m156 owner as of August 2020, this video confirms all the research I've done and experienced as well as an owner. You are spot on and clearly know your stuff. This is definitely one of the most accurate c63 videos out there.

Fantastic video, owning one for 3 years and actually currently looking to buy another after having an m4 for 12 months, you covered pretty much every issue big and small, one thing that is more common you realise is the upper pan leaking, as these engines get VERY hot the cycles seems to eventually wear the seal away as they are not a gasket, engine out job to reseal… good pointer for anyone else currently in the market for one

Don’t forget about the facelift cars suffer from oil leaks from the engine block. We have repaired about 30 of them so far.
Another note is that the service history is kept online by MB and is called DSB. Dealers and specialists like us have access to it and can therefore update it when a service is done.
They eat engine oil, tyres and brakes like any good rwd V8. 😊
Great video by the way. Really enjoyed it. 😊

And I also noticed the oil level had gone way ↕️ below half measuring from the dipstick. I have a question I'm trying to convert a c250 W204 to a C63 amg is it possible what are all the things which i need to change

Anything is possible if you have the skills and money. Surely it would be cheaper to buy a C63 though? You’ll have to upgrade everything from radiators to driveshafts. Won’t the parts costs outweigh the cost of buying a C63?

@@CarThought the engine the trans all together costes like 10k but a C63 amg is like 30k$ A c250 is like 7k$ so that's still a huge savings also when we talk black series it's a different league it's like 60k $ so converting is a better option ig but will the engine fit and what all do we have to change

@@siddharthsr1 if you think you have the time, skills and money to do it mate, fair play 👍 I have no idea what you would need to buy or prepare for, as I’ve never done it myself. I would factor in tool costs too. You’ll need engine hoist, a car lift would make it faster. But maybe you have a workshop, I have no idea! Remember on a C63 it’s not just the trans and engine that make it a C63, it has bigger discs, bigger calipers, bigger control arms, bigger engine mounts, bigger anti roll bars, more radiators, different springs and shocks etc. etc.
