Just depends on the pace and the track. This one was a new trail, and 1st lap I’m always tight for the first lap or so. I’d rather pace a faster rider where I can see their lines, and how their bike reacts to obstacles, it definitely makes the ride easier when following(unless I’m just incredibly dialed in and know the track and then some of it is second nature)
Great ride brother. Do you think you are much faster as a follower vs a leader? You’re fast at both, but you look smoother as a follower.
