Rita….. thud, so awesome that this iconic tram is returning home to rigby road tram shed, in fact it should have its own blue plaque be great to see it cosmetically restored and, hopefully in time restored to running condition, now just need a winning lottery ticket
Just a shame they didn't see the value of it when it was taken away but at least it's back though. Do the heritage trams in general still get well used by the public when running?
They only run between the north pier and pleasure beach but I don’t know how popular they are. They ought to be well used as the museum needs the funds.
It will be re-painted in it's original green and cream livery. Then it will be on static display only for visitors to see in the planned Tramtown museum at the depot. Still waiting for renovations to be done at the depot, as some parts of tbe site did not meet safety standards.

We seem to watch all of the same RUclips channels
Awesome
About time too!
Great to see this back.
Where had it been ?
Am I right in understanding that you are looking for sponsors to help with the roof?
Would have been a great job for @truckertim as I'm sure the publicity from his channel would have helped.

When its restored, will it be operational?

What were Blackpool thinking of when they came up with that POS livery, somebody would have been paid thousands to come up with that crap
