@@michape6359 N 728 is one of the very fragile old trams built almost entirely out of wood and is not in wonderful condition so is limited to runs on some very special occasions. I have not heard of any plans to overhaul it.
@@michape6359 I hope you see this. I just got notification that the N class as well as the other ancient Sydney trams trams will be running in service at the Sydney tram Museum on Sunday 15 October: • Sydney C Class 290 of 1896 • Sydney C Class 29 of 1898 • Sydney F Class 393 of 1902 • Sydney N Class 728 of 1906 • Sydney O Class 805 of 1908 • Sydney O Class 1111 of 1910
@@griffinrails You are a Great asset to both of those museums, and hopefully you are welcomed as you deserve. Don’t be put off if the occasional person may seem grumpy. There is sure to be another project which you will find more agreeable.
Very interesting video. I salute the men who painstakingly restore these old trams. Thanks Tressteleg1😀💚👌
Yes, and they certainly have an air or professionalism.
I think that I would have a few beers in that tram was it was located at the Tradies in Dickson.
Well, I guess you will have to come and take a ride when 1729 is mobile again, but the beverage may have to be something a little tamer 😆
Is there an idea, when N° 1729 will run again ? @@tressteleg1

Can't wait until it starts running, very impressive work so far.
Well if you are able to go along and help that could speed it up a bit 😊
@@tressteleg1 Prod to say that I now have! Or at least helped with the STM in restoring other stuff like the Vario. (Alongside HET)
