@@obstructedgod9976 I show it after getting the spell binder ability (I think) I basically go into all spell binder and no spells. Everything else goes into passive stat boosts and heavy slam stance (charge attacks)
the white dot next to the gourd indicates how many soaks are equipped, after you upgrade your gourd you can add another soak to it. Thanks for these videos hope this little tip helps anyone that was curious like myself

Basically playing the game with you with this guide got to chapter 3 and knew I wanted to do 100% and find most everything and stuff. Takes me about an hour to cover 30 mins of your video after pausing fighting dying winning unpausing and repeat 😂😂 also everyone should explore around areas you do miss lots of will and chest if you were to run exactly this route. I didn't know about soul binder so I beat the final boss the hard way. Took me few good tries. Watching back the walkthrough, look like I miss few things. I'll go back and make sure I finish them. Thanks for this detailed video, you're a star. 🙏
These guides are great. I like to use them in the following way. I find out who the final boss is. I do the level blind up until that boss. Once I get to that boss, I follow this guide and clean up what I missed to the best of my ability. If I missed something like killing all the lantern guys… Oh well, I’ll snag it in NG+. Amazing guide first of all. I just would like to point out maybe an item you missed is the Gold spike plate that drops from those lighting mages. I had that curio drop while on the hunt for Vajara Armguard. I couldn’t remember in the video if you mentioned it or not. :)
Ngl at the beginning I thought you actually only covered the quest and bosses, but like.. you did everything! Side stuff, upgrade items, very rare items, random chance stuff this was actually a great guide! But onenthing bothers me tho , at the section where you have to interactmwith the 4 Buddha statues, there seems to be some kind of secret area you cannot reach tho, I saw an interact Butten through the fence , so there has to be something
If you mean the Apramana Bat boss I missed him in my first playthrough. I think it was because I advanced too far in that area and the little boar guy was no longer with me when I went back. But in my second playthrough I went there with the little guy right after I unlocked the hub and got the cutscene to fight that boss. Hope this help's you or other players in future playthroughs.

Same here, after some research it looks like it might be the Keeper of the New West (that bird with a human head we met at the start of chapter 3) and supposedly he unlocks in the journal after completing the chapter… but I’m thinking he is Yellow Brow in a different form? So I don’t know how both those journal entries are going to complete from a single character

Ive went through each lvl and killed every lantern i saw but effect is still happening and i dnt see anything new spawning... do u have to kill all 9 without dying?
@@D-Fly_Gaming they don't revive once you kill them. The guide is pretty straightforward imo and I killed all 9 before watching this guide. Also after defeating them won't end it until you fight the boss in the middle tower

For anyone wondering and looking in the comments like I was… the Auspicious Lantern Curios drops once and then NEVER AGAIN no matter how many NG+ playthroughs you do. I’m sitting here retracing my steps over and over thinking I missed a Lantern Warden (thinking I lost count somehow, even though I was sure I counted 9)… all because I didn’t see a second auspicious lantern curios in my equipment tab. Frustrating that I wasted all that time lmao Not all curios/soaks can be duplicated throughout NG+ playthroughs I guess

Tip for yellowbrow: When he does the lighting circle on the ground trapping you, just jump out instead of trying to dodge.
Don't know if this was a fluke, but heavy attacking him took me out of the circle too
Also staff spin deflects the spells he shoots at you

BTW last yellowbrown boss when he cast a ring of elec, you can just jump over it and you are good xd i see you didt and just stayed in it :P

you have to do NG+ to get everything in any case, so just get it in NG+

Near that longer dragon interaction, I didn’t get that boss fight. But I still got the Turtle crown thing

It is not all the little chests with materials and will/spirits floating around. But it is all unique items / stuff needed to get 100% achievements.

This last two soaks are impossible to get for me. I’m on NG++ and I still havent gotten the steel ginger or the jade lotus one.
my only recommendation is to just run around and harvest all the relevant plants until you get it. It should happen within 20 minutes to an hour,

32:28 can someone explain how he got a third Gourd soak? I upgraded my gourd to 8 uses but didn’t get another slot. Or is he using another Gourd?

@@ChrisBerdini you needed to do the step in chapter 2 where you speak with the NPCs in the house until they leave.

i talked to matimba in chapter 1&2 but he didn’t appear at the location you mentioned, why is that?
try checking back in chapter 1 and 2 locations and see if he is still there. talk to him more if that is the case. hope this helps!
