Chap 3 : was great, bosses all felt about right by the time I’d grinded up some levels. The levels are so fast in 4 that it’s getting less challenging. But still hard enough. I love these videos. Tip: towards the end of the video, in the Valley of Blooms. The Tree that drops the “undying vine soak” also has a high chance of dropping Mind Cores. I don’t know if I’m just lucky but out of 6 times I got 4 Mind Cores so far!

Warning : the 4th purple seal/sigil./talisman. There is a 'Crane Immortal' right after the fight with the Supreme Inspector. if you have killed the final boss aka "hundred eyes daoist" before this , the crane immortal will not appear. and you will not get credit for the Portraits. Just wanna say a Big thank you, for this complete walkthru. its no easy feat. Much appreciated.
@@ItsShatter , i didnt see the "immortal crane" appear in your fight at 32:26. maybe you did. it's just not shown in the vid. btw, there's rumor saying that the "immortal crane" not appearing may be a bug. anyways, best to complete the 4 sigils before killing the final boss. . A heads-up on the "Horse Guai" aka Ma Tianba. in Chp 5. it a missable quest, if a certain boss is killed. The " Horse Guai" must have engaged dialog through chp 1,2,3 and 4.

@@Sp-ec I was trying to say that the devs want you to try spell binder with yellow loong. I’ve noticed some bosses are easier at lower levels using that than spells.
@@diongrant9746 spellbinder was for yellow brow in chapter 3, that's why he's able to turn your pluck against you and immobilize just turns him into gold. Yellow loong is a different boss in chapter 4.

I beat Yellow Long with a Cloud Step Unveil attack build, piled on some Pluck of Many to quickly reduce health. It's literally the same fight as the last one. Beat Scorpion Lord with the same build. Set the Relic to massively reduce cooldown on Unveil. Use Pluck of Many from Cloud Step and join in on the fun, then use Unveil for the rest of the fight. I did it my first try with Lord. Now I'm just running a hybrid build so I can switch between Spell Bind and Cloud Step for the bosses where the other strategy doesn't work.

Thabk you for the guide. After I completed chapter 2 and wasnt able to kill the lanterns i found your guide. Havent missed a drop since. I would like to add that it is wise to look around arenas and sharp turns for chests as well. Guide was beautiful and LOVE all of the pins.
18:20 Yellow Loong: When he charges up mid air, just use Rock Solid, if parry successful, it will cancel all of his high speed and high damage combos. Then you just fight him on ground like normal

Amazing technique to defeat yellow loong. Tried it totally works. Defeated with zero damage. Pilgrim armour and spellbound is the key. Thanks for sharing the technique. Was taking way too long otherwise.
Gahhhh, that ScorpionLord fight was horrific. But it's done, as is this chapter, thankfully. And thanks to this guide, I now have numerous options for builds going into Chapter 5. Much appreciated.
The wind tamer knocks yellow loong out of his second phase. Right when he’s done charging just pop it and he goes back to normal. Also, sprinting left or right to avoid his dash attack works with any armor set.

For the Scorpionlord Boss fight, if you use the house as a barrier & charge your Focus heavy attack, he'll whiff a lot of his attacks, leaving him open for a counter. I rinsed & repeated to beat him fairly easily.

A really good tactic to do for yellow long is to upgrade your pilgrim armor and keep distance run and charge you're heavy slam attack. I beat him on my second attempt with this method.
Another good tips is when ever you defeat a boss that drops its spirit use all of your gourd if using jade essence drink to replenish mana and gourd at the same time if you’re not around a shrine

A tip for the venomous armguards, if you wanna play it safe just immobilize the boss and use your staff spin on his back until you get an arm off. Then just back off wait for your immobilize to come back and repeat the process!!
How to get the 4 th curios slot before the final boss u dint have the 4th slot and than u have it do u need to do something to get it or defeat the final boss

To get the tiger tendon belt, I equipped a golden carp curios and was able to get the belt in 2 tries. The curios grants the user a moderately increased chance of obtaining materials from defeated enemies.

I think because we pick up everything and you get special items every boss is just easier and easier I remember the first boss in chapter 3 the ice flying dragon on the lake I died 40 times Now the last final boss in chapter 4 I killed in the 2. Time it was not even hard But I could miss 80% of these items without you

Tip for beating Scorpion Lord: After you engage him the first time you don’t deal with the cutscene. So I walk to the edge of the clearing and pop 4 tinctures: Enhanced Tiger Subduing Pellets Amplification Pellets Evil Repelling Medicament Longevity Decoction (optional) Immediately pop Pluck of Many Feathers and charge my heavy attack. Run into the clearing and let him attack and land the 3 focus charged attack. Immediately immobilize him. 3 quick attacks into a (maximum level) Wandering Wight Spirit attack. Charge up one more attack and he died. Took 11 seconds to kill him. I re-sparked to focus entirely on: Maximum Pluck of Many Feathers Maximum Immobilize Maximum stat buffs (crit, attack, defense primarily.) Maximum charged attack & heavy attack damage/interruption/knock back mitigation. Took me about 15-20 tries to get annoyed enough to re-spark lol.
Phew, that scorpion lord....so far, top 3 hardest for sure. After you already lost once and have to run back, as soon as you get close enough to aggro him, if use pluck of many, he always did his spinning combo, after he finishes I'd hit him with immobilize, once he breaks out hit him with wandering wight, then I'd use wind tamer to stagger him giving my duplicates a chance to do as much damage as possible, and immediately use my trans ability into red tide and do my best to get in as many combos as I could, essentially throwing EVERYTHING I have at him so once all that is used up, I have him as low as possible, about half the time it'd work getting to him to under 1/4hp, the other half, I'd mess up and he'd have half or more hp. I was unable to find a window to get in a heavy attack. I'm sure you can but all I could do was get in as many light attacks in between combos as possible. The time I finally one, everything went right during the start, got him down to 1/4, then I danced with him just getting in light attacks where I could and he had maybe 1/8th hp n my trans ability recharged, I just went all in, did enough light attacks to get 1 heavy and surprisingly that 1 heavy killed him. I had to go purchase 3/4 of the non pure armor set as 3 is all I could do. But I noticed a pretty good increase in damage, not to mention the poison resistance, it defenitly made a difference. For the loong, my strategy was the total opposite. I use cloud step when he unleashes his lightning attacks. To buy time to charge cloud step, I hold him up and call up my buddies. Then call my flame guy followed up with a bow from my wight. Rinse and repeat.

Lol for the tiger tendon belt, I didnt get it on my first playthrough cuz of the low drop rate. On the second went back at the end of chapter 4, and got it in 2 tries. Everything that wasnt dropping for me very well dropped almost immediately this run through, Ive had insane luck
Huge thanks for the oddly simple but effective advice for yellow long beat him on my first try also want to say you can use pills for “no cost stamina” and it makes the process much faster, be sure to upgrade pilgrim’s armor as well. Makes it a breeze
Another tip for the scorpion that helped me beat him my 3rd time trying it like this is dont use spellbinder, keep your immobolize and just use that and cloud step to hit him with level 3 heavy attacks everytime, i also used red tides which helped A LOT

Finally i defeated scorpion lord...yup, very tanky . All did was did all the moves,plunge my monkey clones,cloud step, transformation,head bump monk, and sunshine move (whatever ya call), keep using cloud step,charge up smash move and combo. Have to be aggressive moves to defeat him...took me 6 tries to figure his tanky moves.
Kill the master 1st try without knowing about using the needle… used fully upgraded fully charged Unveiling strikes and Golden lining did some serious damage too

Ngl I tried this and almost one then died with loong boi having a millimeter of health left. Then had used up all my pills you suggested. So I changed tactics to using the thrust stance and just spammed this mfer until his health was gone. Chefs kiss.
At 21:25 where you get that Mind Core and all those useless flying bugs attack you, you can use Wind Tamer and insta kill them... worked for me at least, idk if level has anything to do with it, i was level 75 or so there

Yellow loong was an absolute pain to beat on first play through. NG+ first time, it's a pleasure coming back to them after struggles.

18:20 Yellow Loong: When he charges up mid air, just use Rock Solid, if parry successful, it will cancel all of his high speed and high damage combos. Then you just fight him on ground like normal

Thanks for the walk through. For me, Yellow Long is the final boss in this chapter. I beat the centepede boss in 1 just try by attacking on sides.
Amazing technique to defeat yellow loong. Tried it totally works. Defeated with zero damage. Pilgrim armour and spellbound is the key. Thanks for sharing the technique. Was taking way too long otherwise.

The wind tamer knocks yellow loong out of his second phase. Right when he’s done charging just pop it and he goes back to normal. Also, sprinting left or right to avoid his dash attack works with any armor set.

For the Scorpionlord Boss fight, if you use the house as a barrier & charge your Focus heavy attack, he'll whiff a lot of his attacks, leaving him open for a counter. I rinsed & repeated to beat him fairly easily.

A really good tactic to do for yellow long is to upgrade your pilgrim armor and keep distance run and charge you're heavy slam attack. I beat him on my second attempt with this method.

Another good tips is when ever you defeat a boss that drops its spirit use all of your gourd if using jade essence drink to replenish mana and gourd at the same time if you’re not around a shrine
Thanks one Note worth mentioning After Beating Zhu Baji not only did I get the Jade Moon Rabbit I also got a Blood Stained needle , and the Legendary NON PURE AROMOR SET !
A tip for the venomous armguards, if you wanna play it safe just immobilize the boss and use your staff spin on his back until you get an arm off. Then just back off wait for your immobilize to come back and repeat the process!!

How to get the 4 th curios slot before the final boss u dint have the 4th slot and than u have it do u need to do something to get it or defeat the final boss
You have to defeat the blacksmith in ng+ for the 4th curio slot.. you can do it again in ng++ for a 5th and final slot. 👍

To get the tiger tendon belt, I equipped a golden carp curios and was able to get the belt in 2 tries.
The curios grants the user a moderately increased chance of obtaining materials from defeated enemies.
Yeah I had 2 of those equipped in NG+ and it still took me like 30 tries to get it. I think you just got really lucky, which is always nice lol.

I died 40 times
Now the last final boss in chapter 4 I killed in the 2. Time it was not even hard
But I could miss 80% of these items without you

Tip for beating Scorpion Lord:
After you engage him the first time you don’t deal with the cutscene. So I walk to the edge of the clearing and pop 4 tinctures:
Enhanced Tiger Subduing Pellets
Amplification Pellets
Evil Repelling Medicament
Longevity Decoction (optional)
Immediately pop Pluck of Many Feathers and charge my heavy attack. Run into the clearing and let him attack and land the 3 focus charged attack. Immediately immobilize him. 3 quick attacks into a (maximum level) Wandering Wight Spirit attack. Charge up one more attack and he died. Took 11 seconds to kill him.
I re-sparked to focus entirely on:
Maximum Pluck of Many Feathers
Maximum Immobilize
Maximum stat buffs (crit, attack, defense primarily.)
Maximum charged attack & heavy attack damage/interruption/knock back mitigation.
Took me about 15-20 tries to get annoyed enough to re-spark lol.

Phew, that scorpion lord....so far, top 3 hardest for sure. After you already lost once and have to run back, as soon as you get close enough to aggro him, if use pluck of many, he always did his spinning combo, after he finishes I'd hit him with immobilize, once he breaks out hit him with wandering wight, then I'd use wind tamer to stagger him giving my duplicates a chance to do as much damage as possible, and immediately use my trans ability into red tide and do my best to get in as many combos as I could, essentially throwing EVERYTHING I have at him so once all that is used up, I have him as low as possible, about half the time it'd work getting to him to under 1/4hp, the other half, I'd mess up and he'd have half or more hp. I was unable to find a window to get in a heavy attack. I'm sure you can but all I could do was get in as many light attacks in between combos as possible. The time I finally one, everything went right during the start, got him down to 1/4, then I danced with him just getting in light attacks where I could and he had maybe 1/8th hp n my trans ability recharged, I just went all in, did enough light attacks to get 1 heavy and surprisingly that 1 heavy killed him. I had to go purchase 3/4 of the non pure armor set as 3 is all I could do. But I noticed a pretty good increase in damage, not to mention the poison resistance, it defenitly made a difference. Good luck.

For the loong, my strategy was the total opposite. I use cloud step when he unleashes his lightning attacks. To buy time to charge cloud step, I hold him up and call up my buddies. Then call my flame guy followed up with a bow from my wight. Rinse and repeat.

Amazing walkthroughs, followed them for every chapter, but after trying to explore alone first. I would miss a lot of important things.
Tip: For tiger tendon., use the beetle mask n golden tablet n summon pluck of many and then attack. I got in my 3 or 5th try in NG+

Lol for the tiger tendon belt, I didnt get it on my first playthrough cuz of the low drop rate. On the second went back at the end of chapter 4, and got it in 2 tries. Everything that wasnt dropping for me very well dropped almost immediately this run through, Ive had insane luck
Huge thanks for the oddly simple but effective advice for yellow long beat him on my first try also want to say you can use pills for “no cost stamina” and it makes the process much faster, be sure to upgrade pilgrim’s armor as well. Makes it a breeze
Another tip for the scorpion that helped me beat him my 3rd time trying it like this is dont use spellbinder, keep your immobolize and just use that and cloud step to hit him with level 3 heavy attacks everytime, i also used red tides which helped A LOT

Finally i defeated scorpion lord...yup, very tanky . All did was did all the moves,plunge my monkey clones,cloud step, transformation,head bump monk, and sunshine move (whatever ya call), keep using cloud step,charge up smash move and combo. Have to be aggressive moves to defeat him...took me 6 tries to figure his tanky moves.

@ minute 32:34 if you take the left before interacting with the purple thing, go up the steps and there is a gold chest with lots of rewards
Kill the master 1st try without knowing about using the needle… used fully upgraded fully charged Unveiling strikes and Golden lining did some serious damage too

Ngl I tried this and almost one then died with loong boi having a millimeter of health left. Then had used up all my pills you suggested. So I changed tactics to using the thrust stance and just spammed this mfer until his health was gone. Chefs kiss.
At 21:25 where you get that Mind Core and all those useless flying bugs attack you, you can use Wind Tamer and insta kill them... worked for me at least, idk if level has anything to do with it, i was level 75 or so there
Remember that you can grind out some levels on this chapter. So if you want to farm this is the chapter to do so
That tunnel got me from 65-105 in like less than an hour
