Thank you so much for the amazing video! I always learned something from you. I’m so happy that I got 12 sales within 3 weeks listing my low content books. I’m running PPC@ $0.20 each keywords with 20 keywords. I have started the “Phrase Match”. So far my Acos is 45 to 50 % . I’m optimizing as I go along. I run the auto campaign as well but not much impressions. All sales were from my manual campaign. Is this normal to have high Acos in the beginning?

Excellent work on getting the sales. I tend to start with Broad and Phrase and then optimize but yes, it is very normal to have a high ACOS and you just trim off the unprofitable keywords over time.

Thank you so much! I was feeling like a failure, I've been posting for about 2 or 3 months now with no sales 😕. Now I know why my search results were to high, they were around 10k smh. I think the niche I was gunna make a brand around was more profitable maybe 2 years ago but not now. Atleast I have 2 other pen names so lol I will take ur information and finally succeed.

Unfortunately there is no ‘filter’ on the KDP dashboard to look at what is LIVE and what is in REVIEW.

Thanks for your message. I’ll definitely add that idea to my list. The pricing of your book depends on a lot of factors including size of book, printing cost, black and white or color interior, competitive influences, launch strategy and a few others so there is not just one model that fits all unfortunately.

Thank you for sharing. It is very helpful. Do we have to pay attention to the search volume of each keyword? Would you be able to recommend the software that is most accurate in terms of the search volume?
It's important to record the search volume of each keyword as you go as this will help you to determine if it is a keyword you should target for your title, subtitle or 7 backend keywords. There is no one software that you could say that is more accurate than another. I use a combination of Publisher Rocket, Book Bolt and KDSPY. The links for these if you needed are in the description notes.

Just wondering if there is any software where you can specify the BSR required and set a filter so it only shows books with less than 2000 search results.
What a great idea! You can set the BSR filter on Book Bolt but not the search results unfortunately. Perhaps Helium10 does but I’d need to research that. Excellent thought though. Well done!
Once you find the niche, how do you determine what book to create?
By looking at the other books in the niche that are doing well and you just make even more improvements to create an ever better book!

Hi Danial. I use both but I do like the simplicity of Publisher Rocket. Both are very good though!
Agree with you on your search strategy but the problem here almost all the first page books have a ton of reviews , I think at least you should have one book in the first page without a review or fewer reviews
Yes, that would be the ideal if you can find these niches. I disregard the reviews and look at the popularity and need Vs competition (search results). If I can still get a small slice of the pie and if I can run some Ads that generate some sales then I’ve found that I’ve had very popular books with 5% of the reviews of my competitors and they still do very well. If all we did was worry about the reviews of others, we’d probably not jump into 99% of the niches as we’d be worried our book wouldn’t sell. That’s the way I look at it and others may disagree but it has worked well over the past 2 years.
@@globalselfpublishing You have wonderful unit sales numbers over 2 month period. Were you running ads on many or some books to achieve those unit sales numbers? If so...how many of those units sold were organic vs ads? Oh...and are these low content/no content or are these actually books you’ve written? You’ve got my attention now...I’m going to watch more of your videos. Thanks.
@@CrowningSuccess thank you for your great feedback! I was running Ads on approx 25-30% of the books that I sold during this period and they were majority of low content books. I’d say that 60% of sales came from running ads to these books while the remaining are from organic sales now. I’m also finding that my sales are growing in other markets like Canada as my brand presence grows. And yes, I’ve created all books myself. Initially I was outsourcing the cover design but it’s one of my favourite things to do now and I feel it’s an area I’ve improved significantly.

The bsr's under 250k. The higher the number the better or lower? I understand the search competition, I need to add the bsr component
Good question. The lower the BSR the better. #1 BSR as an example is the Best Selling Book across all of Amazon in that specific market.

In this video i have noticed that While doing your keyword research You have found the niche " Cursive Handwriting workbook for kids ages 8-12 yrs"I am very much clear at this point .But after number of book selection for BSR you have counted " Cursive Handwriting workbook for kids" but you have not counted number of book for " Cursive Handwriting workbook for kids for ages 8-12yrs" is it normal ? I mean instead of counting number of books for 8-12 yrs ages .you have counted " Cursive Handwriting workbook for kids "I hope i am clear to my question thanking you good day.

Publisher Rocket certainly isn't compulsory, just an added software that really helps. You could get by just with BookBolt for the initial stages.

Hi Damian. It does help as the data that Publisher Rocket is showing you is using those keywords however, I would never use Keywords I plug into Publisher Rocket if they don't make sense.

That’s fine. I use the software as it speeds up the processing time and saves me significant $$ and time in the long run so that’s why I invest in it.
Why books for low content books but all for no content books? What are low content books for you? log books?
I have just found that I when I choose ‘Books’ for Low Content I get better data however, I really don’t think there is a ‘perfect’ way of doing it.
No content = Lined journals
Low Content = Coloring books, activity books, log books etc…

I am RN executing your method while watching your video. I have this question: When you count the number of books in the page and get their average Bsr, Do you only take into account books with that have the similar keyword (you seareched for) on their title and 70% similar, or you take all of them, cause you know sometimes you see sponsored books that are a bit far from the exact niche.
