You don't regen MP even out of combat if you have speed of light active. So you need to pick up orbs (energy collection can buff that pick up) or get kills (MP collector) or just spec into efficiency vs raw power or 4 damn crit mods (which overkill most everything that isn't a boss anyway).
I've tested this, and that doesn't ever seem to be the case, the mp recovery in combat with the boost didn't make a bigger difference with max mp, it made the same difference, meaning it's a set value, not off a %... there's a chance I could be wrong, but testing this with luna a character with 611 mp, and then testing it on her with 300 mp, and seeing no difference in the cost of a dps rotation, that should show some sort of result, even marginally, if there is a chance it does do that, it would have to have shown up, and it didn't.
The MP recovery that you get from your components is a flat amount for both in combat and out of combat, it is then boosted by MP recovery modifiers which are additive to each other.

@@TwoLiterSoda mp collector is trash in every compared to this. Orbs have a higher drop rate per mob killed than the chance you have of mp collector procing. Mp collect is capped at 12.2% at a 17% chance. Orbs give a bigger % boost so 3 mp collector procs is one orb. Ontop of that mp collector doesn’t boost passive mp regen. It’s actually the orbs that are giving you the mp regen most of the time bc mp collector has been and will always be trash
@z00ko "trash" is a strong word but MP regeneration in and out of combat as well as energy collection is definitely slept on. Both require kills or some caveat to fuel your spam. Six of one, half a dozen of another. Similar argument for MP efficiency vs raw power of your hits in the bunny farming world.
Thanks for sharing. I always learn so much from your videos. Question, using what you've said in the video, would you recommend using mods to reduce skill cost if you can regen your MP? Or would that be more Descendant dependant?
@@ultimateshield3406 it’s actually really nice. I do this on my bunny for farming. I run narcissism & blue skill cost. Ontop of energy collection. Leave room for people to explore. But yes you’re correct. You’re right on track. There’s many skill cost modules that really make a difference with this
There are a couple of ways to achieve that. Bionic fuel let's you run infinitely but at the cost of hp instead of mp and also a slightly slower run speed. You can offset the loss of hp by using hp collector which has a guaranteed proc instead of mp collector. The other way is to use overwhelming shields which sets your hp to 1 and gives you extra shields in proportion to your hp. That build usually uses shield collector as that also has a guaranteed proc but shield collector can only be gained by combining mods and is a different build around altogether. I wouldn't suggest taking the overwhelming shields version to anything that uses poison or you're gonna have a bad time and you'll need decent defense to make your shield more durable.

I can tell who didn’t watch the whole video. Your attention spans are yall downfall. So let me spell it out for you. 1. You can’t regen any mp if you take dmg until after 3-5s. This is common knowledge 2. Mp recovery in combat allows for you to regen mp while you’re shooting (shown in video MULTIPLE times). If you take off mp recovery in combat you will NEVER GAIN MP if you’re shooting or taking dmg. 3. Energy collection is the best mp module in the game because it allows you to get a bigger % boost per orb. Stronger passive regen for in combat and out of combat (proven in video). 4. MP collector is trash. It’s a set value of 12.2% and a 17% chance. Orbs have a better drop rate than that and let’s say they had the same well we can make 1 orb give us 35% of our max mp (proven in video) making one org be 3 mp collector procs. This completely destroys mp collector. Mp collector doesn’t affect your passive regen abilities. If you want to ride outdated modules by all means go ahead, ignore the facts in front of you. 5. Stop trying to bring constructive criticism if you don’t even know what you’re talking about. You know how many 🤡’s deleted their own comment because they were wrong and being so loud & condescending or passive aggressive before they tested it out or I give them the micro details I leave out of videos so it’s not too long. I test everything thoroughly before I upload. I won’t always be right but I’m right 85% of the time. And the game has lied to us multiple times and nor does the modules or module effect screen on the characters always tell the truth (ex. Lepic gather grenade) you’ll be surprised how many characters are affected by modules that don’t show up in the effect chart. Many sp modifiers or sp boost don’t show up as well… does that mean they aren’t working? No! See…. So the best way to test things is by TESTING and SHOWING YOU IT WORKING. idk how people can see something work and still be BLIND. Because the table doesn’t show it having an effect. @@damousx6860 I've tested EC vs. MP C on Bunny extensively for speed running dungeons and MP C wins easily. For starters I don't want to go out of my way at all to pick up orbs. For a dungeon like Shelter (i.e. the catalyst farm I end up doing 5-10 times every day to keep them crafting endlessly), MP Collector clears average about 4m20s and EC clears are rougly 25 seconds slower. There's a bit of variance because the first event can screw you over by tons of ^ pickups and no ^^^ ones, but this is over the course of several days comparing the two. So I’m assuming for the effect to kick in combat how many second does it take for it to like regen. Cause I choose to find both out of combat and in combat especially when I’m against the boss cause time I do need that regen during combat cause I be running out of gas lol
But than out of combat I just run like a bitch to get to cover so I can chill and wait for my
Regan to comeback so I can go back into the Frey.
You don't regen MP even out of combat if you have speed of light active.
So you need to pick up orbs (energy collection can buff that pick up) or get kills (MP collector) or just spec into efficiency vs raw power or 4 damn crit mods (which overkill most everything that isn't a boss anyway).
You do realise the higher ur Max MP is the faster the regen is as well. Also, the MP Regen is via % value not flat value.
The MP recovery that you get from your components is a flat amount for both in combat and out of combat, it is then boosted by MP recovery modifiers which are additive to each other.
im not gona watch the whole thing so ill just ask, does he mention that the in combat regen only works when no mob lands a hit on you? cuz soon as u get hit all regen stops no matter what its name is
Do you want the bad news?
Man I been wasting time with mp collector
You and me both. Hey, at least we got to feel lucky for hitting that combination rng for a little while, right?
@@tutompop yeah honestly I was pretty excited to get mp back at random times felt like a constant jackpot
For most characters this will be useless in intercept battle. Destroying weak point is always better than spamming skill in intercept.
@@me-A2B as a speed runner I use this mainly in intercept. It makes a huge difference in dps for our team comp as an enzo in 100% uptime on all the mag buffs for everyone on the team so there’s no dps drop if they’re running other mags
2 whole module slots seems a bit steep tho, doesn't it?
Yes. MP collector is much better IMO.
It's more consistent than mp collector, since it cuts away rng. Yeah though, it's a steep ask, but for spam casting it's hard to beat.
End of the day, your build, do what your comfortable with.
@@mr.g1672 you don’t need both. You need energy collection. I said this in the video.
So mp collector will never be better than this. Most people don’t even realize how bad mp collector is.
As a vampire mommy main, what's mp?
Thanks for sharing. I always learn so much from your videos. Question, using what you've said in the video, would you recommend using mods to reduce skill cost if you can regen your MP? Or would that be more Descendant dependant?
@@ultimateshield3406 it’s actually really nice. I do this on my bunny for farming. I run narcissism & blue skill cost. Ontop of energy collection. This allows for me to have no mp cost so I can actually never lose mp on bunny. I was going to show that (hence the bunny at the end) but I didn’t want to dive too deep and make the video longer. Leave room for people to explore. But yes you’re correct. You’re right on track. There’s many skill cost modules that really make a difference with this
What i wanna know. Is there a way to endlessly sprint with bunny. Cuz id couple that with skill aoe and dmg and im good for life
There are a couple of ways to achieve that.
@@TheBlackSage7 yeaive seen the 1hp mod and was like wth.. whod use that?!
I bet it works in some builds which im unaware of since im new. But definitely too scary to use
@@Awesome-ct7vr run narcissism, run conversion or blue skill cost and run double mp nodules. You’ll never have a cost
I just slap in mp collector. Does the job 90% of the time. I recommend you to watch TheRealAsianRobot's bunny build videos (farming & bossing)
I can tell who didn’t watch the whole video. Your attention spans are yall downfall. So let me spell it out for you.
1. You can’t regen any mp if you take dmg until after 3-5s. This is common knowledge
I lose faith in humanity every time I upload a video. Who raised some of y’all cuz goodness, prideful, toxic, and ignorant, and stubborn is a bad combination. With me I’m confident but humble in victory or defeat, I’m coachable, I grow, I learn and get better, I’m apologetic and I empathize and can take my lick. Y’all try so hard to sound more than where you’re at. Just be easy, I upload my findings bc I want to. I’m not trying to prove anything to anyone. I don’t care about any comment that comes on this channel. I just try to correct misinformation from my comments so others aren’t lead astray, or to educate the ignorance or learn from the same comments if I’m the ignorant one(if you are being respectful) about something I was wrong about… and I can count on 1 hand since I started TFD content where a comment was right and I was wrong.
In short… if you’re going to make a comment at least know have tested your theory… don’t bring out the Joker in me that’ll be a clown with you and have a party in chaos and laugh and make a mockery of your ignorance piled ontop of your 💩 ‘ty way of talking to people on the internet
well that people: alway thinking of bad thing first-and begin to adap
all and all: this is a mini version of warframe- build what you think is good, fun, play with own pace
hell i put all fire rate mod in my gun in warframe just for silly whole mag enemy head
Woud this work for lepic to increase shots?
@@andrewmarceau422 no. Max mp is more important
Ya, i can't listen to anything you say after you said lepic and luna are the only 2. Kyle doesn't even have mp 🤣
And how is this better than mp collector? Other than bosses I don't see this being better.
@@Zabeltross welcome captain obvious here. Even in the title it says MP COST. Use your brain instead of trying to sound like you know more to something that was so obvious I didn’t even mention it. In what world did you think having a custom resource character would affect “MP” recovery. One with a brain would logically deduce that I was saying the only mp characters who don’t need this are lepic and luna.
You didn’t even put “can” and “can’t” right
I’m petty enough to heart the comment and pin it so everyone can see the type of people who make comments like this. Now I’m laughing at you😂😂💀
And how is it better than mp collector? Because orbs have a higher % chance of dropping from a mob that you killed and this buffs them to give you a much bigger boost to your mp % recovery per orb and mp collector has a set value of 12.2%. Ontop of it boosting passive mp regen. If you’d watch the video full through you’d have seen that. I even put timestamps for you short attention span clowns as well and you STILL COULDNT GET IT. 🤡

Anyways, does mp recovery in combat still stop regen after getting hit ?? about 3 secs if i remember correctly then it will regen again.
My farming bunny has EC and MP C
TBH, you DO NOT need MP C on bunny.
@@damousx6860 Depending on what I'm doing.I run both one or the other. And sometimes none at all at all
@@damousx6860 I've tested EC vs.
EC (by itself) will always be of questionable use on Bunny because using Speed of Light keeps you in combat the whole time you use it. The only way to get good regen from EC is to either pick up an orb or shut off SoL and wait to drop out of combat. Which actually is useful should you ever run completely out of MP in between enemy spawn locations but it's not massively faster than what the MP Rec OOC roll on my aux gives by itself, so I still can't really justify it over MP Collector. And my build doesn't allow for two X modules so I can't stack them both. Maybe I'll try that after season one drops and I can fiddle with the socket types without completely breaking other things.
"As You Can See" 😅😂
Im confused does gley use mp?
She doesn't have MP.
how would that work with bunny sprint?
It doesn't but it does buff orbs you pick up while doing it.
You don't regen mana (even out of combat) with speed of light activated.
It’s great on Bunny, combining it alongside Maximize Conservation and you basically have infinite sprint
So u have tow aste 3 card slots and farm all these external components.......no thanks
@@raymondledoux520 where did you get 3 from? It’s one module. I swear people have no listening skills. The world is doomed. When you can’t even pay attention to the content of a video where I say exactly which module is the most important one that gives you all you need but if you want more use the others… how is it that I get multiple comments of people saying it’s 3 and 2 modules. Like it’s WORD FOR WORD VOCALLY. How do you miss that? I’m genuinely curious. Ontop of that these perks and components are all must have for any build for farming or dps in intercepts or operations. Every character needs mp recovery in combat and out of combat. Unless you’re going for a farming set. There is no build in the game that is complete without the external components working either with the modules or substituting modules
Test this in battle then your radar is red😅
@@artemshenev7422 when you shoot you’re considered in combat not out of combat. When you get hit you’re considered red and it stops your mp regen for 3 seconds. If you get hit… skill issue, if you pick up an orb you still get a benefit from the one module investment. There’s not a better module to socket for mp than it. That’s what the video was about. Showcasing what it’s doing. In the video you see my mp stop during me showing the % from orb difference. It is common sense that you can’t regen mp while taking dmg. Things like that shouldn’t have to be said
I don't think you're in combat. Your radar doesn't show you in comba.
Absolute braindead infinite MP
Mp recov + MP collector
