Playing For Change (PFC) is a movement created to inspire and connect the world through music, born from the shared belief that music has the power to break down boundaries and overcome distances between people. The primary focus of PFC is to record and film musicians performing in their natural environments and combine their talents and cultural power in innovative videos called Songs Around The World. Creating these videos motivated PFC to form the Playing For Change Band-a tangible, traveling representation of its mission, featuring musicians met along their journey; and establish the Playing For Change Foundation-a separate 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to building music and art schools for children around the world. Through these efforts, Playing For Change aims to create hope and inspiration for the future of our planet.

I have tears in my eyes when I always watch this video It is full of life lessons When I see all these people, these innocent children very happy in their village despite precarious living conditions In life, wealth does not necessarily bring happiness but love and only can bring happiness. Our world really needs Love. Long live my continent Africa.
Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiioiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
Bravo l'artiste.
I dont understand a word of the song, but still understand it all. So soulful, so simple, so honest and so innocent.Just what music is all about...beautiful voice, lovely people of Kirina. Greetings from India...
Music is an universal language. The lyrics, a foreign language don't matter. If you feel the music in your heart and soul, you have grasped the universal language
muchas gracias hermano
Opened minded.
There were dasy when I listened to this song, when youTube was my only friend, when I was in a cold grey place, where it rained almost every other day and cold snow fail from the sksy. This song made me cry despite my age, it made me long for my home, a place where the sun shines everyday, the smell of rain water on dusty earth, my father and mother, the love and warmth of my peopl, cheap original vegetables. Now I'm listening to this song at home in Africa, at home, so glad to be home again.
LOA AMO!
Notre monde a vraiment besoin d'Amour.Vive mon continent l'Afrique.
Baaba Maal you are the only one who always make me feel proud of my origins. Your name does not mean daddy for nothing. Your voice touches me like nobody. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Hi friend how are you doing ajarama
We love him in morocco too , habib koite and baba mal
Longue vie .

Africa in my heart! Love for African kids-Vladimir, Zagreb Croatia
Thanks from Argentina. I just love africa and its nice and gentle people. We all have soooo much to learn from them. luis
Such a pity that the monied few leave their brothers and sisters in abject poverty, which the west does nothing to stop.
Much more respect for you as well! We would like to learn from you. Issa from USA 🇺🇸 originated in Senegal 🇸🇳
Luis, I never had great feeling about Argentina mainly because Argentina tried to erase the history of Slavery and existence of Africans in Argentina. To a point I don't like even the soccer team. But it is good to know not everyone is the same.
How is it You dance to Tango and deny the existence of Africans in your land? Tango is African not Spanish.
I am not attacking you personally. Just a conversation.......enlighten me. I maybe wrong.
@@slowasturtle5704 Cut the dope
@@luiskuramathi I see you could not address my point. Look into your backyard before praising Africa. Argentina is a Racist country who attempted to erase Black history. You associate your selves with Spain. Oh, your country harbored criminals from WWII. You don't deserve to comment on anything that is Africa related.
That goes for Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile too. There were slaves in these countries. But you try to deny it. unless you have anything solid to say, don't respond to me.
I love Africa and all of its creation!
I vae lived once in West Africa, I have met people from Mali, the most simple, correct, happiest people I have ever met.
The are spreading love.
Thank you.
Thank for your Dream.
A little Piece from Thailand
Lots of Love from Baltimore USA…Kenyan community.
Lots and lots of love from Morocco. What a wonderful music! ❤❤❤
The smile on these children is the best gift we can enjoy and understand, if they laugh there, we complain that we ...? appreciate what we have and share, however little, is our best choice. thanks
Very touching. Peace, from Indonesia with love 😍
Viva Indonesia!!!!
Baaba is my best artist in the universe. I wish him long life.

Angela, Rivasplata hi
Much more respect for you! Greetings from USA 🇺🇸
Thanks you.
And I think it is our generational duty to build a Universe of peace, of joy. let's keep working for a better future
So good to see happy smiling faces and dancing too, far from the misery of starvation and war often shown in stories from Africa. Keep up the good work.
Peace and joy through music, fabulous.
African has a lot more to offer than what CNN shows. Yes there is poverty is Africa. But there is also Poverty in the America. Mainly among Black people. the people I saw on the video did not look like they are starving. They seem like centered and culturally rich. Notice the respect for the older people? What do you do in the U.S with them. You let them die in Nursing Home.
You would have been better off just admiring the music and not stray to areas you don't fully understand. Stop watching late night TV!!!
A million thanks from Costa Rica to Playing For Change for bringing all these wonderful people together.
Lots of love from Kenya. This is so peaceful, soulful and calming

Nice! Greetings from Porto Alegre, South Brazil!
Baaba’s music touches your soul, he makes you feel the music. Such an incredible singer, it’s a shame that this type of music will never be “mainstream.” Yet artist with zero musical talent and trash lyrics get all the attention.
Not only that, but American jazz, blues and folk music is based on three chord patterns. Listen to the intricate web being spun around those chords and you'll realize why it has lasted more than 75 generations. Wonderful!
I love the smiles on their faces
Every time I listen to Playing For Change I'm overwhelmed. This is video is another example of the profoundly beautiful, universal and unifying impact of music.
So much Beauty, Peace & LOVE.

Missing Africa... just six months since I came back home.
Artistes magnifiques !
Roi Mohammed VI a l'UA
Baaba Maal, may all your dreams of Kirina Baaba Maal come true forever!,
Listening to this since 8 years in the row. With much love and peace!!

Missing you @Charrlotte
Music touches the soul when it is played with such emotions. Music is the univerasl language of Peace and Love.
The music is wonderful. Africans are full of emotions, love and beauty. Thanks for sharing this beautiful song with us. God bless you all.
We all came out of Africa 40000 years ago, it’s about time we recognised we are all cousins, physical changes are only superficial, we are all the same in truth

obrigado
Magnifique.
i find this song has a very powerful vibe and can't stop hearing it every day. We perceive life in all ways but when you are down and out and feel helpless maybe just listen and watch this video and re-evaluate yourself and think twice. I really want help all over the world in these poor stricken places and just cook non stop for the poverty. If anyone can help with leads and info please add a comment it would help me greatly.

♥️☀️🌜⭐Who would'nt like to be among these people,if only for just one day!
This made me cry for our Africa, wondering why we still poor, it's been a while we suffer a lot
It's been a while =(
Celebrating the heroic epic of Sundiata, one of the oldest African folk tales. Mali is a country so amazingly rich in culture, and this song shows it.
Slow motion emphasizes their beautiful movement!

Very Positive Song For A Great Cause, but we need to take a deep and serious look at the African World and Poverty. These African brothers and sisters are playing for a change. Yes, a Change, they are playing for a change in our African World Community. Merci for showing the other side of Africa.

Lovely music, with feeling. and thank you for the person who served us well with a translation. Glad to hear that you are being blessed with a music school. Love playing for change and believe in what you are doing. Wonderful how all cultures have their own music and it is truly universal. You have my prayers and my support. God bless you all.
Thanks for letting me know sharing this song, it really touched my heart and I love to hear many times.
Beautiful!!!!! I love the music and the dance!!!!

My humble thanks!
Just one word: Beautiful.
In the 90s With Production Traquen’Art in Montréal, I worked to promote Baaba Maal. I will never forget the great time I had with him and his group. I fell in love with his music. I still listen to his album El Toro.
sometimes the voice says it all thanks sweet africa
How is it we can feel like we are coming home to a place we have never been?
Agree ! I feel the same way.
Barry Nelson When Heart sings to Heart, time, place and circumstances
