Ah, good old Aberdeen! So glad the season is up and running again. I do have to say that I’ve dearly missed the utter clowns on social media… 1-0 down at HT, and the meltdown had already started; booing at HT was utterly embarrassing. All the negativity being spouted on the socials by the usual suspects. Dare you say anything rational and realistic otherwise, you’re a “happy clapper”. New manager, new ideas, new philosophy, and a new culture is being created, and it’s not an overnight fix. However, some of the fans are part of the culture issue at the club. This is not an overnight fix, it’s a long term project. This isn’t the same as the last few years, when we were always looking for the quick fix to everything. You can see the way that JT wants us to play, we’re getting an identity and a new culture. Top 6 finish this season, a decent run in both domestic cups, and that’s easily an improvement on last season, and it’s very realistic. I highly suspect that Miovski will be away by the end of the week, I feel that this was a goodbye for him tonight, hope I’m wrong, but I can see it happening. We still need some additions to the squad, particularly in the wider areas, at least 1 winger is needed and a cm. I don’t agree that we need 5 or 6 signings. We’ve got the makings of a good squad it just needs to click and a couple of decent additions in the right areas will help that immensely. If Miovski goes, then probably another striking option as well. I’d seriously consider bringing in Allan Campbell for the cm spot, a great midfield man who’s without a club after leaving Luton.
Totally agree and booing at half time is really gonna gee the manager and players confidence eh,stop that shit get behind what Jimmy's trying to do and how he wants us to play,Rome wasn't built in a day,hes a cracking manager but needs time tae settle in the job, ring in players who are gonna make us stronger in the areas we need to be stronger and on e it clicks its gonna click and we will see free flowing attacking football, we might concede a few goals but we will score plenty goals this season

Bookings really go help things eh,get a grip it's new management players etc,we still won and once jimmy settles gets his team clicking we will be flying cause he is a cracking young manager so don't panic any1 who was booing itl come good but looks like bojan is off and soon and I'd like to think cormack will gee jimmy a few quid to strengthen,hes obviously been promised money or he wouldn't have came to us
People having a go at the fans booing at ht. Yes it's early and we have a new manager. But I think fans were remembering last season and probably thought nothing has changed. I haven't been overly impressed by the team so far in the 3 games. All l can say at least we are going to go thru too the next round. Dundee Utd who have brought in a lot of new players and the Perth Saints could be going out. Happy to be going thru but a lot of improvement is needed.
I think Managers and Players are often shocked at the pace the Scottish game is played at. Nilsen last night was an example of this, a hugely experienced player but will need time to adapt to the speed of the game, he looked sluggish chasing back, too many simple misplaced passes and at times way too close to Shinnie leaving huge gaps in the middle of the park that were easily passed through. He was lucky to stay on the park and if he has that level of discipline against either of the cheeks, strathclydes finest will have no issues giving him his marching orders.
Need more quality on the wings. Love the see Hoilett back. Still not convinced on the new number 6. He looks off the pace and some terrible passes. Thank god for Shinne 💪

Should have scored at least twice in first half and I think people are too much about result based thinking. One nil down so we must be terrible. Airdrie play an open game so were always going to make chances. Lucky equaliser gets us back in game and everyone thinks we’re great. Still not certain on MacKenzie, Rubizic, or either winger.
