When we accept a situation regardless the outcome and detach ourselves from the results, this is where we find peace and freedom from anxiety. To commit an action is in our hands but not the results and this is what we have to be always aware of. Expectations are the root cause of all misery.

finally someone said it i was having hard time faking it to be loud , making long eye contact , having many people around you and at the end of the day i felt not good enough then i started accepting as i am being calm, talking slowly , taking things slow and i never felt more happier it just feels me

    • @I_membahh

Never understood the eye contact thing, like a glance here and there yea but I ain’t gunna stare at someone in the eyes while talking to them n what not, but still, don’t know why that’s a thing , as long as you listen to them right ?

Im 26 and my mother told my brother last year that of he wouldnt act in a certain way he would be an idiot like me. It was more like a question. She asked my brother : "do you want to be an idiot like your brother?". And I was sitting in the next room hearing that. Also my whole family doesnt really respect me or acknowledge my whole personality. I have a really bad relationship with my father. All things I always got taught from him were like "you are dumb and worth nothing ". So I decided to cut him out of my life so I don't have to hear all this bullshit coming from him. Doesnt matter what I do. If I went back to school to get my high school degree or going to the gym going out with friends he always made me feel like I'm a bum. I'm 26 as I said and I really struggle to get friends and or a relationship with a woman. Also I obsess over every woman who treats me with kindness and respect.
I don't know I will try to get more confident but its hard. It's really really hard.

You are worthy just as you are and as a human.
I hope and pray you get good role models and mum /dad figures in your life.
People who show you unconditional love 💕
I hope you achieve your dreams.
      I actually have grandparent figures.
That give me that love I seek too.
Sometimes family can let you down.
      Or even be abusive.
      I think gratitude is important.
To celebrate positives that you do have.
But I hope someone can come and speak powerful truth over you.
And that you do that too.
But you deserve so much more then that.
I'm praying you find it. Or it finds you.
      Shalom. ❤

You actually describe the way of healing that I have just read a good book about one of very powerful techniques. The name of the book as well as the technique is "Feed your deamons". Basically I understood that an inner deamon is basically famined part of ourselves. That guy desperatelly needs to be fed. The book describes a meditation technique that works with visualisations. An example: The feeling of insecurity can be visualised. It might look like some dark smoke kind of thing with a feeling of desperation and emptiness (abandonment). Just an example. It can be anything. In the meditation you just personalise that thing and There you see the deamon. It might be a shadowy dark figure of a drug adicted homeless kid (again just an example). And you start a conversation with the deamon. You give him 3 questions 1. What is it that you want from me? 2. What is it that you truly desire? 3. How will you feel if you get what you desire? Then you become the deamon and answer the questions. You might give answers (again, just an example): 1. I want your suffering because I hate you. 2. In fact I just need you to accept me and love me! 3. I will stop feeling so lonely and rejected. I will feel loved! In such scenario you visualise your body turning into something that represents what the deamon truly desires for. In this particular case its love and acceptance. And you let him feed on it. In this point you might experience intensive emotions as you are feeding part of yourself that was famined for years. The deamon should change its appearence into something more cheerful, handsome and alive! In this new being you are finding your ally. Yiu give 3 questions to this new being: 1. Are you my ally? 2. How are you going to help me? 3. I don remember anymore. Anyway, get yourself the book "feed your deamons" and let it roll! I nail my ass on it that this is a powerful stuff!

I'm glad someone finally talked about Maddie. It troubled and confused me whenever someone brought up Maddie as the perfect example (the paragon) of confidence. And then I asked myself, so is that all? Confidence is fakeness, immaturity, arrogance and shallowness? I was utterly disappointed. (I've heard that incompetence-a lack of experience in people leads to confidence and I thought perhaps it might be true....)
So thank you! This soothes my soul.

question: as a people pleaser, how do u find yourself? for example, when i try to think of what my real sense of style is, or what kind of music i truly like and dislike, i come up blank. i'm so used to being flexible and adapting to trends and others' opinions that i truly feel like i can enjoy lots of different things without having strong opinions about anything. in other words, i can be convinced of anything by anyone since i don't feel strongly about things at all. i never know if what i'm wearing is actually something i like or something others would approve of. i really GENUINELY cant tell. pls help.

When i first got to college...i tried to fake myself, change my personality and be like who I'm not really supposed to be.
After a while....my real personality came biting up my a** . Like really, really hard. Through that experience i was able to adopt something very useful in life. And I'm always happy for that. But i came to love my real personality. It's peaceful. Later on i realised that so many people,my friends are always doing things to either please people,or just doing them so other will realize they're also around. I realised they were struggling so much. When i be myself...i found it very peaceful and I've come to love it. That's why I love Francesco, she teaches so real stuff. Frances...can i get your handles please???

Great vid. I think the key is in the "wrong conclusions we draw, and carry forward with us". External people and events happen. When we are young we are taught to ask permission, say please and thank you, etc. great stuff, however I think we fail that lesson, in concluding that it means all things such as worth and permissibility, only come from objective externals. In all those cases, we always held the control and drew a conclusion and lived by it; not seeing our own role right there. We too often conclude and carry forward, powerlessness, unacceptability, lack of worth and so on. Believing it comes from outside, someone criticizes, or we fail to achieve a goal, we conclude ourselves a failure. We did it; not the other
