Standing Tall | How a psychology degree helped JonJon Berring ’24 change his story in baseball

At 5-foot-6, JonJon Berring ’24 was always one of the smaller guys on the baseball field, even in high school. But it wasn’t until he got to Santa Clara and started taking classes in psychology that he began to understand how his size affected how he approached the game and what he could accomplish. By examining the negative stories he told himself and removing limiting beliefs, he became a conference champion on the field and even launched his own clothing company.
