- In this week's video I’m going to talking about what goes into a home photography / videography studio.
When I started getting more serious about photography and videography, I wanted to setup a home studio so everything was ready when work came along or I felt inspired to work on a new project. I had a general idea of what a studio looked like, but I didn’t really know what were the actual parts that made an effective home photo/video studio.
I’m going to outline some of the different factors you might want to consider when you’re looking to setup your studio at home.

Oooh this is super helpful!! Thank u for sharing 😆😆
Hi Cecilia, glad you found it helpful! :)
Great tips Kyle! Lighting is so important!
Thanks Peilun! It is! I found Learning how to manipulate lighting as one of the most useful skills as a photographer 🤗
@@KyleCWong For sure!
Nice video man. It's always great setting up and building your own studio.
How are you liking the octogon softbox and what do you think about the honeycomb grid?
Thanks Kevin! 🙏 Its pretty good so far! Mind didn’t actually come with a honeycomb grid, but maybe I’ll look into getting a deep dish parabolic octobox with the honeycomb grid in the future though 😊
Without even knowing I got the canon M50 you suggested in one of my videos.
I got the 22 f2 which is very good lens.
And a good light from neewer which is very good. Gonna try some of this tips at home
Oh you switched from the Fuji? Yeah the 22mm f2 is a sweet little pancake lens! Awesome, I’m glad I could help you get started! :)
