@@ElMarlish When she was meta her ult did pretty low damage, you mostly used it as an execute after poking. Right now tho her ult and passive have an 110% ap ratio, so her playstyle is one-shotting squishies, and roaming around making plays with her E everytime you have ult off cd. I'm no theorycrafter so take what I say with a grain of salt, but the logic of statik is kinda the same as with Kai'sa. You have ad ratios of every spell except for the passive, and it gives her the waveclear she lacks. Plus unless you are mega-fed you'll need to finish people off with your E-enhanced Qs, so the attack speed doesn't all go to waste. Someone should actually try and see what is the best build tho. I tried Nashor into Night Harvester, Manamune into Luden (lower burst but your W actually feels like an ability) and Statikk into Nashor/Night Harvester, but I feel like unless someone brings out the spreadsheets it's hard to figure out what's best on her.
Statikk also makes Ap Zeri viable again. You can go the same build as you did here, but i personally like Harvester as mythic more, or protobelt if they have high range backline
They really need to make Twitch 1. Not have double Caitlyn's range with ult and 2. Either increase the vision radius enemies get on his Q/reduce the duration/remove the movement speed. And because I pray to god 3. Delete cheese to make him depressed People bitching about Jinx constantly while that menace walks around freely without being nerfed at all. Nerf his damage, or nerf everything else. He's straight up doing Eve and Shaco's job better than them, and he gets to play at one of the most secure areas of the map while scaling super well into the late game.
Been spamming statikk nashor kaisa since the patch. Its super fun. I noticed the minions you kill offscreen are not added to cs when you tab so you get much more minions at the end of the game or on the upper right corner than when you tab tho. And I started doing riftmaker as mythic rather than guinsoo or luden. Guinsoo gets Q evolve with the kaisa buff on ad growth and higvest dps its nice too. But man riftmaker healing proccing on statikk and kaisa passive and W heals a LOT. And you can tempo the riftmaker true damage by using W and waiting to R in and W melee after 3 seconds its quite neat. It has less burst than ludden tho ofc. Glad you're back to ap kaisa too, always interesting to see how you play it
Issue with statikk instead of manamune is that You don't get Q evolve. Getting cookies+manaflow band+lost chapter+cull start+double AD runes gives You enough bonus AD to evolve Q upon completing manamune. And Your waveclear with evolved Q is already very strong waveclear. Okay, You don't oneshot wave, but You oneshot casters, then 3 seconds later You finish melees with another Q. Getting the bonus damage from Manamune AND from AD on Your W hits is also huge. W doesn't proc statikk, so Your artillery mode is actually weaker (though You make up for it by being stronger when using R, I guess).
AP Rakan, Build Night harvester and start dark seal, Dont take E till the laning phase is over, and max W first, Phase rush and inspiration secondary runes
My AP kai'sa build is tear -> rushing ludens, however there's a trick here. When you have the parts of it, don't finish it, instead get an extra amp tome (it will go into nashor or horizon focus later). I think getting the W evolve as early as possible is way stronger than finishing ludens. After ludens you get manamune for Q evolve. This evolve is really strong even on AP. In fact I'm also maxing Q on ap kaisa because of the better wave clear, however I'm maxing E second because I think stats are better. rank 5 W does 100 more dmg than rank 1, which isn't that much at level 13 and considering you build ap. Tear -> lost chapter + blasting wand + amp tome (W evolved) -> finish ludens -> nashor + berserkers if you wanto E evolve or Horizon + Sorc if you prefer to poke with W -> Situational stuff, Dcap is strong, even Serilda works lol (slow is nasty and Q does physical even when you build AP)
I was a Gwen jungle main for a long time but after she got nerfed on the jungle and after many games where I couldn’t gank because my champion sucks I HAD to give up on her.
U can go for Gwen jg or mid with first strike and protobelt, is pretty nuts if u survive earlygame. Nilah lethality mid is cool too. Kayn/Rhaast lane too

But, and this is a big but, when your full build manamune deals more damage than another ap item, even with deathcap Is that the case on kaisa too? Did u try in practice tool or do you just play what feels better? The problem is you cant get manamune early since you want the W evolve with static as fast as possible so I dont know where to put it

It's better in bot, really. Getting to statikk (and some AP for the clear) is the issue with sona mid. Often You'll be way too far behind by the time You finish statikk, and it's hard to maintain relevance. But a supp can babysit You in bot until You get statikk, and You scale well enough to warrant occupying the adc slot.
Hi Pekin. I am an ap Kai'sa main too and I will give it a go to the statick rush instead of Muramana. But my build is setup to get all the evolved abilities on the first 3 items: Muramana > Luden > Nashor's, then the ret is classic Rabbadon into either void staff or Shadowflame. I also buy berseker for evolved E. I like the idea of Stattik as it gives you wave clear but do you feel it is worth it to miss on evolved Q? As I saw in your video that you never get it.
@@xSchockZz Yes it does with Muramana build. Since video released, I tried this build: Stattik > Nashor > Gunisoo + sorc boots. With it you get all evolutions and does pretty decent dmg. You do a bit less on W but your AA are deadly. Wave clear is insane thanks to stattik. I really like the build but problem is mana now. Since we do not have neither Muramana nor Luden, you kinda feel the loss. I migh try the same build but with luden instead of Gunisoo for mana but I don't know, If I never get evolved Q I might pass on it as I value evolutions so much.
@@xSchockZz Yeah true. Well I tried another game with this build and, while powerfull, it is not as good as muramana for W. Imo I'll just do Statik > Nashor > Luden + berserk to get evolved W and E. I think I will get evolved Q at some point with ad growth per level but it will be super delayed compared to the original. The thing is, Statik is very very good after testing. The dmg and wave clear is insane. So Imo the build stays the same as the original, but you have to chose between muramana and Stattik. Statik gives you wave clear, scales better into dmg but delays evolved Q. Muramana gives you mana, ad, less dmg and wave clear but you get evolved Q sooner.
@@scales8768 The waveclear isn't even much worse, really. You can evolve Q very early with proper runes (cull start, cookies, manaflow band), and You oneshot casters with Q as soon as You evolve it. You don't oneshot melees, but Q has a really short CD at lvl 9, so You can just Q to oneshot backline, wait 4-5 seconds, Q again for melees. With Ludens later on, You'll often actually oneshot melees as well with aa melees to proc ludens on them, then Q whole wave. Yes, AA-ing the first melee minion once and getting the whole wave feels awesome and is a little bit safer, but statikk is worthless for artillery W spam kai'sa. Better for the all-in with R, but at that point You might as well play her onhit. The whole point of AP kaisa is to poke hard and NOT have to ever get into AA range.
If you do guinsoo as mythic you get Q evolve around level 13 or 14 since the kaisa ad growth buff . Been doing the statikk nashor build quite a lot since patch and guinsoo is very nice, although I kinda like riftmaker a lot from the last tests. The statik and W/passive healing are hilarious
That's why it doesn't make sense to go Statikk on AP Kai'sa. You get it mostly for waveclear, which You could already have with evolved Q by building manamune & getting specific runes (manaflow, cookies) and starting cull. Yeah, statikk is better for the all-in because of the zap, but the whole appeal of AP kaisa is W artillery mode.
@@Sylvine the waveclear isnt compatable at all. I have played a lot of kaisa ap. Before you would need Q and to auto several times the minions to full clear on the muramana dirk into ap build (you dont get evolve with just muramana until you get higher level and luden to stack mana as ad) Here you kill the whole wave instantly on one auto + Q melees Im consistently being between 9 to 11 cs per min on kaisa ap that didnt happen before statikk. People underestimate a lot how broken it is to instakill a wave with one auto ( Q has no animation required so you can effectively while walking away after the auto) You get prio all the time, you get to roam a lot more, be a lot less targetable by people collapsing on you. Better back timings etc. The single target damage of W stays really good, the all in is super good too And it opens more builds than muramana which needs a mana ap mythic to reach the threshold for Q and some ad after muramana early to have waveclear. I am not a fan of first strike like pekin tho. Feels kinda bad because later you want to W, wait for 2nd W and RW to nuke the hardest which would waste first strike and in lane its garbage. Also magical boots are nice but the other runes are bad imo on kaisa ap cookies is ok but not that needed . I feel like fleet footwork ( actually solid ap ratio for healing) , pta , hail of blades or even electrocute/DH help more You can time third auto and W to hit nearly at the same time on pta and proc passive and surprised people with legit 60% hp nuke

Actually rageblade would give you much more damage on w because w has pretty bad ap scaling and really high ad scaling. If you dont count flat penetration from ludens rageblade would increase w damage more, plus ragelblade also gives pen

Nearly an hour of Pekin playing my favorite champ(Tied with Akali, Zoe, and Asol) AND playing her AP, oh my god it's my lucking fucking DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!
The thing that annoys me about a prospective AP Kai’Sa is Her ability that evolves from AP, the W, actually gets less damage per gold from AP than it does from AD. It has 45% AP scaling and 130% AD scaling. 108 gold is worth 5 AP, 105 gold is worth 3 AD. So that gold will get you less than 2.5 damage with AP while it gives 3.9 damage with AD. So if you want to focus on W then it seems like you’d want to just get enough AP to evolve W (incidentally Nashor’s is just enough and is also one of the most gold-efficient items in the game because the majority of characters don’t make use of its particular combo of stats) and then just run AD from there. Obviously you do get higher damage on your passive with more AP, and some AP items like Luden’s add an extra punch on hit to your abilities, but I’m not sure if it makes up for it especially when you consider that AD is better for your autos than AP. Though Rabadon’s comes in to jack up your AP by a bunch so that is a consideration too. Rabadon would put you to about 3.3 damage per 108 gold compared to the 3.9 per 105. Then there’s the other oddity which is that your Q, the ability that evolves by AD, actually gets equal damage per gold from AP as from AD. First missile has 50% AD and 30% AP, so as above similar amount of gold gets you 5 AP or 3 AD, both are 1.5 damage. And on this one Rabadon’s does give AP the edge. And then the ult shield, early it benefits more from AP, later it’s about equal, but with Rabadon’s AP always has the edge. TL;DR the ability that you’d think AP Kai’Sa focuses on, the W that evolves from AP, actually benefits more from AD than AP because it has a meh AP ratio and a crazy AD ratio.

Also ap items gives you way more ap, with ap build u can reach 800+ ap and only 400~ad with ad items. Also there's magic penetration. Your W deals almost no damage with ad build and procs 1 time in 15 second
I dont think this build works at all. Not having Q upgrade is a huge deal for your burst and close quarter fighting while Statiks AD stats are also less than half of Muramana (W also has a large AD ratio). Q upgrade also helps a ton with waveclear instead of having Statik. Nash having 0 pen and not helping you with W's and passive. As far as i know the build path for classic AP Kai Sa is still the same as it was. But now you have a different AP Hybrid build with Rageblade and not a Mage mythic. You go Statik - Nash - Rageblade hybrid. But in that case you are an auto attacker and a different playstyle from classic AP Kai Sa.
Been working fine for me. Might not be ideal but feels strong at every item spike. Standard AP Kaisa with muramana is strongest but I consider this build beginners friendly as it makes laning not volatile at all. But at the end of the day this is purely my own opinion on it
I have to admit that i dont play her mid. Against assasins and mages i can imagine laning phase is really hard and these items can help. Probably also the reason why its played mostly top or bot where you can afk farm on the top island or have your sup protection bot and safely farm for your 2-3 item spikes.
Can you try thresh mid with statik shiv. Been playing it apt recently and he dominates after getting statik shiv. Build into stormrazor for on hit. The runes i pick are dark harvest but other might be better. Start by stacking E first then build Q to W
Leblanc is THE champ to abuse statikk. I've played TankBlanc top for a while, and fiddled around with ADblanc as well, and both were already pretty good. She is a surprisingly good autoattacker, so the item is not quite wasted even without the insane waveclear - and lack of waveclear is the main reason leblanc hasn't been very good in the past few years. Fizz is another decent user.
Would this work with ezreal? Bot or mid? Context: I've been playing Ez bot, and started experimenting with rushing static shiv into ludens tempest, and it seems like it scales better into late game with a muramana and death cap. However, I really struggle into tanks, but I think it's a skill issue

Statikk shiv is weak on intended role and being abused on random champs lol. The damage dealt to minions just needs to be reduced to champ dmg as well and the item is fixed.

Statik gives you wave clear, scales better into dmg but delays evolved Q. Muramana gives you mana, ad, less dmg and wave clear but you get evolved Q sooner.
@@scales8768 The waveclear isn't even much worse, really. You can evolve Q very early with proper runes (cull start, cookies, manaflow band), and You oneshot casters with Q as soon as You evolve it. You don't oneshot melees, but Q has a really short CD at lvl 9, so You can just Q to oneshot backline, wait 4-5 seconds, Q again for melees. With Ludens later on, You'll often actually oneshot melees as well with aa melees to proc ludens on them, then Q whole wave.
Yes, AA-ing the first melee minion once and getting the whole wave feels awesome and is a little bit safer, but statikk is worthless for artillery W spam kai'sa. Better for the all-in with R, but at that point You might as well play her onhit. The whole point of AP kaisa is to poke hard and NOT have to ever get into AA range.

If you do guinsoo as mythic you get Q evolve around level 13 or 14 since the kaisa ad growth buff . Been doing the statikk nashor build quite a lot since patch and guinsoo is very nice, although I kinda like riftmaker a lot from the last tests. The statik and W/passive healing are hilarious
That's why it doesn't make sense to go Statikk on AP Kai'sa. You get it mostly for waveclear, which You could already have with evolved Q by building manamune & getting specific runes (manaflow, cookies) and starting cull. Yeah, statikk is better for the all-in because of the zap, but the whole appeal of AP kaisa is W artillery mode.
@@Sylvine the waveclear isnt compatable at all. I have played a lot of kaisa ap. Before you would need Q and to auto several times the minions to full clear on the muramana dirk into ap build (you dont get evolve with just muramana until you get higher level and luden to stack mana as ad)
Here you kill the whole wave instantly on one auto + Q melees
Im consistently being between 9 to 11 cs per min on kaisa ap that didnt happen before statikk.
People underestimate a lot how broken it is to instakill a wave with one auto ( Q has no animation required so you can effectively while walking away after the auto)
You get prio all the time, you get to roam a lot more, be a lot less targetable by people collapsing on you. Better back timings etc.
The single target damage of W stays really good, the all in is super good too
And it opens more builds than muramana which needs a mana ap mythic to reach the threshold for Q and some ad after muramana early to have waveclear.
I am not a fan of first strike like pekin tho. Feels kinda bad because later you want to W, wait for 2nd W and RW to nuke the hardest which would waste first strike and in lane its garbage.
Also magical boots are nice but the other runes are bad imo on kaisa ap cookies is ok but not that needed .
I feel like fleet footwork ( actually solid ap ratio for healing) , pta , hail of blades or even electrocute/DH help more
You can time third auto and W to hit nearly at the same time on pta and proc passive and surprised people with legit 60% hp nuke

Actually rageblade would give you much more damage on w because w has pretty bad ap scaling and really high ad scaling. If you dont count flat penetration from ludens rageblade would increase w damage more, plus ragelblade also gives pen

The thing that annoys me about a prospective AP Kai’Sa is
Her ability that evolves from AP, the W, actually gets less damage per gold from AP than it does from AD. It has 45% AP scaling and 130% AD scaling. 108 gold is worth 5 AP, 105 gold is worth 3 AD. So that gold will get you less than 2.5 damage with AP while it gives 3.9 damage with AD. So if you want to focus on W then it seems like you’d want to just get enough AP to evolve W (incidentally Nashor’s is just enough and is also one of the most gold-efficient items in the game because the majority of characters don’t make use of its particular combo of stats) and then just run AD from there. Obviously you do get higher damage on your passive with more AP, and some AP items like Luden’s add an extra punch on hit to your abilities, but I’m not sure if it makes up for it especially when you consider that AD is better for your autos than AP. Though Rabadon’s comes in to jack up your AP by a bunch so that is a consideration too. Rabadon would put you to about 3.3 damage per 108 gold compared to the 3.9 per 105.
Then there’s the other oddity which is that your Q, the ability that evolves by AD, actually gets equal damage per gold from AP as from AD. First missile has 50% AD and 30% AP, so as above similar amount of gold gets you 5 AP or 3 AD, both are 1.5 damage. And on this one Rabadon’s does give AP the edge.
And then the ult shield, early it benefits more from AP, later it’s about equal, but with Rabadon’s AP always has the edge.
TL;DR the ability that you’d think AP Kai’Sa focuses on, the W that evolves from AP, actually benefits more from AD than AP because it has a meh AP ratio and a crazy AD ratio.

Also ap items gives you way more ap, with ap build u can reach 800+ ap and only 400~ad with ad items. Also there's magic penetration. Your W deals almost no damage with ad build and procs 1 time in 15 second

I dont think this build works at all. Not having Q upgrade is a huge deal for your burst and close quarter fighting while Statiks AD stats are also less than half of Muramana (W also has a large AD ratio). Q upgrade also helps a ton with waveclear instead of having Statik. Nash having 0 pen and not helping you with W's and passive. As far as i know the build path for classic AP Kai Sa is still the same as it was. But now you have a different AP Hybrid build with Rageblade and not a Mage mythic. You go Statik - Nash - Rageblade hybrid. But in that case you are an auto attacker and a different playstyle from classic AP Kai Sa.
Been working fine for me. Might not be ideal but feels strong at every item spike. Standard AP Kaisa with muramana is strongest but I consider this build beginners friendly as it makes laning not volatile at all. But at the end of the day this is purely my own opinion on it
I have to admit that i dont play her mid. Against assasins and mages i can imagine laning phase is really hard and these items can help. Probably also the reason why its played mostly top or bot where you can afk farm on the top island or have your sup protection bot and safely farm for your 2-3 item spikes.

Can you try thresh mid with statik shiv. Been playing it apt recently and he dominates after getting statik shiv. Build into stormrazor for on hit. The runes i pick are dark harvest but other might be better. Start by stacking E first then build Q to W

Leblanc is THE champ to abuse statikk. I've played TankBlanc top for a while, and fiddled around with ADblanc as well, and both were already pretty good. She is a surprisingly good autoattacker, so the item is not quite wasted even without the insane waveclear - and lack of waveclear is the main reason leblanc hasn't been very good in the past few years.

Context: I've been playing Ez bot, and started experimenting with rushing static shiv into ludens tempest, and it seems like it scales better into late game with a muramana and death cap. However, I really struggle into tanks, but I think it's a skill issue
He did try it once. It kinda worked but he rushed it as first item. The wave clear wasn't great in the early part of the game.

Statikk shiv is weak on intended role and being abused on random champs lol. The damage dealt to minions just needs to be reduced to champ dmg as well and the item is fixed.
