If you ever try AP Kai’Sa again, try Nashor’s first item it’s really strong.

@@matarina649 Kraken > 2 Longswords > AS boots > Wit's end > Nashor and from there you can do whatever you need. It's honestly a really strong build.

Nashors tooth plus attack speed boots gives you 2/3 upgrades, and manamune give the AD so those two are the best for KiSa no matter the mythic

I really like ap Kai’Sa, but try next time to build manamune, just one item allows you to upgrade q and have 12 hits from q instead of just 6. Especially that q scales also with ap, thats make her super strong

For the Q upgrade, you need 100 bonus AD from item AND growth, so you only need like 66 bonus AD from Item level 18.
I think one way to rush Q upgrade as AP hybrid Kai'sa is with Doran's blade, Cull and Muramana (you start Cull then Tear then Doran if you can get away with it, Doran then tear then Cull in hard matchup or something like that), and some bonus mana (manaflow band) and you can get it early and keep it as growth AD replaces AD from Cull and Doran.
About the Trist 1 shot, you did 1793 magic damage which is barely more than Trist health. The W tool tip lists 900 or so damage only because it's the damage from the ability. You also deal damage from Ludens (100+ 10%AP) and from the 3 plasma stacks, (mostly 37.5% AP damage) and from horizon focus (all damage mentioned increased by 10%).
As a Kai'Sa main, I can tell you the best build is: Manamune, Ludens, Berserker, Nashors, Deathcap, (defensive item or) void.
Triple upgrade, hell burst damage and sustained damage, long range and poke, no mana worries.
Try it in urf or and Aram if you get Kai'Sa. Way better to carry und feels good.

Yeah. From WoW days: one shot means single ability, globaling killing someone before the global cooldown timer, and everything else wasn't worth mentioning.

Zwag’s craziest one-shot yet!! I don’t know if this would work, but you should try full lethality Kai’sa with Muramana and see if you can get isolated q’s to absolutely one shot.
Evolved isolated Q only does 375 + 150% bonusAD damage, so yeah, you're not going to oneshot anybody with Q. Even the W has a 130% AD ratio

It's actually worth going an AD item on AP Kaisa, since you get more missiles on Q and they scale with AP as well, so your Q damage goes from 50% AP to I think 90%. On a spell you can't miss that's pretty huge.
If you get Manamune you get Q upgrade, so huge damage boost and I think Q applies muramana as well, so WRQ oneshots everything.
Zwag, allow me to educate you on the kaisa w that one shot the tristana. The damage in the tool tip is just from the w. At that point in time, it came out to somewhere in the range of 800-900 damage. On top of that, you had luden's and infernal soul, which each apply their own damage. Horizon focus increased the damage she was taking as well (by 10% if I remember) since you hit her with a skill shot from beyond its activation range. Add it all up, and it comes out to something around 1400 damage, which is more than capable of killing a 1200 hp adc with no resistances in one shot
Try nuclear dart teemo anytime my guy, will bump it often.
Dark harvest / Manaflow for stacking.
Night Harvester / Lich Bane / Horizon Focus for Q + Autoattack deletion or Shroom foot explosion from afar with Horizon.
See people's face melt after you spit a maxed Q + poison at their faces.

Hey Zwag. I've always used full upgrade Kai'sa on URF, and it still obliterates in Summoner's.
I rush Horizon Focus since it gives me enough AP to upgrade W just by buying its components.
I do standard Doran's Ring rush into tear, then build Manamune after Horizon Focus (and yes, you get the upgraded Q from Manamune)
I buy attack speed booties and Nashor's for upgrading my E. I can go invisible after I snipe with W, R in, Q to kill, and go invis with E.
The reason why it was doing more than it said was probably because of items, luden's and esp horizon. The W calc doesn't account for horizon so that could be doing all of the residual dmg you didn't see.
the reason the damage is much higher than stated is also applying 3 stacks of the passive, which has it's own ap ratio and ad ratio as well
When he oneshot Trist he was like

The reason why you one-shot the Tristana was likely because of the magic penetration you had from Luden's Mythic passive, Void Staff, Sorcerer Shoes, and Infernal Soul's AP bonus on top of the fact that she had no magic resistance. So you likely did bonus magic damage.
Pause at 31:13 and the damage is 1793 magic damage from the direct impact, 203 from the Luden's normal passive, and 25 true damage. Funny enough 2021 damage in total.

if u wanna go hybrid (still AP focused) go manamune first item, then bork, both of those can give you enough AD to upgrade Q, then after than get nashor's tooth, bonus attack speed from nashors + bork is enough to up E, then go lich bane for more burst (after using a skill) and thats enough to give you a W upgrade, then honestly go for any other AP items after. tanks are gonna cry because they don't know what to build against you
Here's roughly the stats from the one-shot W
W damage: 889 (130 base + 131 from AD + 628 from AP)
Passive damage: 387 ([10 base + 90 from AP] stack 1 + [15 base + 112 from AP] stack 2 + [25 base + 135 from AP] stack 3)
Luden's damage: 190 (100 base + 90 from AP)
Infernal Soul damage: 204 (80 base + 121 from AP + 3 from bonus health)
Horizon Focus damage: 167 (10% extra damage)
Total: 1862 magic + 25 true before resistances
Displayed damage: 1793 magic + 25 true
With a Void Staff, Sorc Shoes, and a Luden's providing tons of magic penetration, that makes perfect sense against a squishy target like Tristana.

Nashor's Tooh/Manamura/Berserker's greaves is enough to upgrade ALL THREE abilities! Try it out. Then you can focus AP/AD from there.
Also, manamune, nashors, ludens, and beserk greaves gives all upgrades and is insane burst

That's not an OP pick, that's an OP player.
Manamune, zerkers, nashors, ludens is a great ap core. You get the q evo, autos still deal decent damage and almost the same W and passive damage.
Maokai a tank? This misconception just won't go away.
Love this build so much, tho you need tanks on the team to give vision and team should not be behind.
You should do an attack speed Kai'Sa with Navori Quickblade and Duskblade of Draktharr. Of course you'll also need attack speed to upgrade Supercharge (E) and more critical strike chance to make Quickblade more effective, but the amount of time she can be invisible in fights is pretty entertaining.
Manamune, luden, nash gets you all the upgrades and W will still be strong
I think Nashors > AS boots > Tear > Night Harvester > Manamune > Deathcap > Horizon would be best. Get a bunch of ability haste from NH, 600 AP easy, and all evolutions. Unless you need the ludens mana for muramana AD, that'd slap.

I think when you are hitting w you're getting her passive proc since it gives 3 stacks on hit. That's why it's doing more than tooltip dmg, and why it's doing more on higher hp targets
I think the tooltip is bugged since it was showing the same numbers for minimum and maximum damage

Muramana gives upgraded Q without any other AD items, i did that when i played bruiser builds to get early Upgrade Q
Zwag xerath, if you played her in one for all you can do a very scary dmg as long the other kaisa max the stack of ur passive. Then use ur w if its tank its either delete half of their hp or most of their hp, if its a squishy champ u delete them or they are left with 10% hp
