Interesting the version your dad built is really close to the box art on the recently released AMT 1/25th scale version of the ‘55 Chevy. It’s great that you kept both the model and the box, and that there’s leftovers. And there’s a pen in there! That’s what I’d expect if I bought a kit at a garage sale. Cool nostalgia.
I've never tried a 1:16 kit. This might inspire me. Hope you didn't lose the front turn signal and the headlights. I thought I saw a headlight in the box.
These kits are slightly challenging in some ways, but very fun kits to build. I think the turn signal/headlights came up missing years ago, just didn't mention it. I'll take another look in the box for the headlight. Thanks for watching!
wow what a super kool kit/build very nice have the original kit it had centerlines as well 😁🤩😎ps the cragers may have came out of the 57 chevy 1/16 kit🤣😋
Cool kit and cool old build. Thanks for sharing this with us Eric 👍😎
You're welcome, thanks for watching!
Very cool! Love that blue. Thanks for sharing.
You're welcome!👍

Thanks, David! I love the memories attached to this set👍
On another note, your Turbine Car is now in a box. We progress, we progress.
@@davidparker2259 Awesome, getting closer👍
Very cool classic brother, love the back story and old box/instructions. Definitely a classic with a great story 🤙🏼
Thanks, Paul!
Your dad did an incredible job with that. It's gorgeous. Through the camera, the brush job in the interior is so clean. Can't see any brush strokes
Thanks, John! Dad was really good at brush painting in his building days.

That is possible about the '57 kit. Even the '57 T-bird had the cragars
That Monogram/Revell 1/48 scale P-40B kit is still available, in case you decide to get one for parts to restore the old one. 😎👍
Awesome info, thanks, Lance!
Beautiful build!
Thanks! Dad had a good eye for detail👍
Nice!!
Thanks!
That's a beautiful Chevy Eric!
Isn't it a little cold to be in the garage? 21°

Thanks, Bob! It wasn't too bad yet when I filmed this Friday evening👍
