Cool vid SuperDoom! Just a heads up to anybody trying to do this on official PC servers, I believe the devs patched cross snapping platform structures to terrain rooted structures a few months after Extinctions release (people were doing naughty things with it lol). The foundational structure will show green, but regardless of angle or orientation will never place. I did retest this method on smalls after the concept vid dropped, and that was still the case unfortunately. It might be linked to clipping though which I believe is off in this demonstration. However, it looks to be a great medium for aesthetic builds, like stationary planes and what not!
*It must've been a few months before Aberrations release, patch v273.11, my mistake. Although I do remember there being some platform exploit that was fixed right around when the homestead update came out after Extinction that was similar, and I believe what I mentioned above was the final solution for official servers. Please let me know if this isn't the case, and I will do another attempt on my server to check again.

Nice video bro. I did a similar glitch using an exo mek to float my base.
Is that the largest you can build out with that one floor? Or can you expand out as far as you'd like? Or is there restrictions?

oh i didnt know there was a trick with exo meks to float things. Ill have to look that one up!
Floating one Floor is easy. Aligning multiple Floors to also share foundation support IS possible, but takes some complicated scaffolding setups to do it. I show how in my newer video for building a stationary helicopter. And behind the scenes Ive done some other builds to prove large structures are possible, Ill post them later though :)

Can't build anything you want with one floor you can build only something that is no bigger than what was built in this video. You run out of snap points however if you run another stack of pillars the hight you can build something pretty much the same but connect them
