  • Strength training for young handball players is important and should be implemented as soon as the athlete is mature enough to receive instructions. The most important thing is to do the exercise correctly, before adding weights.
    In our beginner programs we've taken this into consideration, and the exercises are performed with body weight and banded resistance. Progression in the exercises would be loading with weights.
    Strength training has an injury preventive effect.
    By getting stronger, you will recover faster.
