man the halo 4 music really stands out as straight garbo, I laughed out loud when I getting into this while making something halo inspired then started to cringe only to see it was the first halo 4 song to come on, second one, stopped, checked, yup halo 4 song again... Except for CAMS, that one is good but thats from the movie sooooo... The rest is really good though, gives you that militarized spacefaring NATO vibe that halo was all about in the beginning. 343 as everyone knows knew just about nothing and had no direction so it just became another generic sci-fi game... Oh well... 🥲...

Except for the 117 motif I'd say, though, it's not really that I think Halo 4's music sucks it's just that it doesn't feel like Halo music it just feels like generic like epic sci-fi movie music you know? The only thing that made me immediately recognise it was when 117 played and I really wish they kept it for Halo Infinite. It fits Chief so well, it sounds like a weary victory but you don't take it in just yet because you know you still have more battles to go and it is your duty to win them type of deal. Like it commands respect. Although again I said motif because the part after it is kindof more of the same as what I said, like movie orchestral epic sci-fi stuff that's neither bad nor good, good enough to set the tone maybe but not memorable enough to make you think this is Halo.
