Of course playing as the UEG/UNSC I've blasted them and seized Zeta Halo... but just after having absorbed much of the former Covenant species. Anywhere there's heavy strings, brass, drums, and maybe synths, the Banished are there. Synths only really happen in "The Banished", kind of a shame
