So storylines like the 'Son of Dathomir' and 'Ventress and Quinlan Vos' arcs were probably not animated because they already have books about them. My only issue is that this means we're not gonna get the Boba Fett/Cad Bane arc animated, which means we'll never learn how Boba Fett got the Mandalorian armor or what the heck happened to Cad Bane.

I can't believe the Clone Wars lasted 5 and a half seasons, and we still didn't get a General Grievous Origin episode! Making General Grievous the most one dimensional character in Star Wars. But how could they fit in a General Grievous origin story when they were too busy making Jar Jar episodes!

Shadow Prince Both Ventress and Dooku had their backstories a bit explained. In the episode where dooku betrays Ventress we can see flashbacks of her while she was a jedi and how did she become Dooku's apprentice in the first place. Dooku was shown in the flashbacks as well. I think it was the last season of the clone wars. And emperor's backstory is canon. In the third movie he is talking about Darth Plaguies to Anakin.
Personally didn't hate the sisters. Shows how where u come from and the environment u were raised can affect how u act & what choices u'd make to survive, whether said choices were stupid or not

Hence, Star Wars the Clone Wars was cancelled. Not only that, Disney owns Lucas Films. They decided to put it Rebels on their Disney channel. There was nothing Cartoon Network could have done.

It's funny how people think Disney didn't want to make money off this show. This show was EXTREMELY popular, but episodes were going up into the tens of thousands of dollars to make. Just one episode. And arcs like Umbara and Mon Calamari easily hit millions of dollars altogether. George Lucas was funding the show directly out of his own pocket. Disney didn't want to pay that much money per episode, but they also didn't want to lower the quality of it since everyone would notice. So they opted to just end the series rather than disappoint fans even more by making Clone Wars episodes that had the quality of Rebels. It is extremely sad, but if the show had stayed in Season 1 budget terms for all 5 seasons, Disney probably would have been more inclined to keep the show running.

Kill Me Grievous still had plenty of screen time. Not as much as Ahsoka, but that was because she was a main character throughout the series. Grievous was a secondary main villain. Doku was the main villain and arguably Ventress was more important than Grievous was in the series. Not saying he was terrible or unpopular, but that's the way I see it.

Copyrights and "who owns what" situations are a headache and really dumb but in 99% of cases the network that a show airs on owns the show and everything that has to do with it. Cartoon Network owns the Clone Wars assets (models, voice work, etc.) While Disney has the rights to create Star Wars shows. They just can't use Clone Wars material. It's really, really dumb, and Clone Wars isn't the only show stuck in copyright hell. Disney also has the rights to create Spiderman shows but they can't continue with "Spectacular Spiderman" specifically because Sony has the rights to that show.

Yes, all of those clips are bits from arcs that each had around 4 episodes each. And from the clips we saw, there are unfinished episodes all up to the wookie arc, which is after Dark Disciple part 1 and before the Son of Dathomir arc in production order.

Sha Sta this is 2 months old so actually I have watched the whole Rebels series up to this point from online and I recorded the season finale and that finale was the greatest episode Rebels has produced. I am actually a fan of Rebels but I do think the unfinished episodes could have done better than the Rebels first season. But Rebels is improving which is great and I'm anxious for season 3, my friend.
Fun fact, this is actually the “Storyboard” of SWTCW. George Lucas told the team that they weren’t doing storyboards, so they were meant to do rough animations of what would happen in the episode.

It’s been almost 6 years since I watch the clone wars undone animation of season 7. Also, we cannot wait to see the final animation and series finale of season 7 from Star Wars the clone wars on Disney + this year.
I need to see these episodes. They are too good stories to remain unsaid or to be told in comics, novels or remain as simple references in future projects. These arcs that were cancelled, had the potential to be the best season of all with the boba fett and cad bane arcs of 4 chapters (my favorite), the dark disciple, the son of dathomir, the anakin and kenobi arcs in Utapau and the one with the kasshyk before the droid invasion. I hope to see them at some point in a series like "clone wars lost stories" or released individually as a miniseries of 4 episodes of 25 min just like Tales of the Jedi premiered as a miniseries of 6 episodes of 15 min

Unless the Siege of Mandalore isn't 4 episodes, and unless the Ahsoka-in-the-low-levels of the city isn't an arc, and unless Order 66 isn't an arc, I'd say it's pretty unlikely to be an arc in the final season, unfortunately.

Really don´t. The Clone Wars was a very irregular series, horribles episodes, and pretty good ones. Jar-Jar and Padme episodes, droids episodes, first two seasons sucks. Rebels is for kids, but a very goood series to.

Now that we have the fantastic news from SDCC, Clone Wars is back it leaves me with questions. Will we ever get the complete Clone Wars sage? There are a lot of these unfinished episodes. I wish all these episodes would get finished. They are such good stories. The training of Boba Fett by Cad Bane on Tatooine and their showdown for the leadership of the Bounty Hunter group Bane was leading. The Ventress teaming with Quinlan Vos to capture Count Dukoo arc. The story about Ahsoka traveling through the lower parts of Coruscant, after she left the Jedi. Plus the return of the Bad Batch on Kaskyyyk working with the Wookiees. All of these were shown as parts from the unfinished episode arcs of season 8. I know the Ventress/Vos story was covered in the book "Dark Disciples" but it would still be awesome to see animated. BTW this story arc (the one playing here) would be the 1st four episodes of season 7, then "The Bad Batch" 4 part arc, then "Darth Maul: Son Of Dathomir" 4 part arc. I'm not sure where Dark Disciples fits in, it could be more of season 7, but the later seasons were 12/13 episodes long so Dark Disciples coulda been the start of season 8? Which would leave the Bane/Boba arc, and the Ahsoka arc to end season 8? The newest season Clone Wars Saved trailer showing at SDCC would be season 9. If only they would finish all the episodes, even if they weren't released in order. Just getting them animated and complete would be a great way to show fans the full Clone Wars sage. Release all episodes on disk please.

Yes, all of those clips are bits from arcs that each had around 4 episodes each. And from the clips we saw, there are unfinished episodes all up to the wookie arc, which is after Dark Disciple part 1 and before the Son of Dathomir arc in production order.
But I just can find the Death On Utapa and Bad Batch Arcs to watch ://

Sha Sta this is 2 months old so actually I have watched the whole Rebels series up to this point from online and I recorded the season finale and that finale was the greatest episode Rebels has produced. I am actually a fan of Rebels but I do think the unfinished episodes could have done better than the Rebels first season. But Rebels is improving which is great and I'm anxious for season 3, my friend.
It felt like rebels hit the reset button in quality from the clone wars. Rebels is now good, but it started bland, just like the clone wars.

Fun fact, this is actually the “Storyboard” of SWTCW. George Lucas told the team that they weren’t doing storyboards, so they were meant to do rough animations of what would happen in the episode.

To everyone saying Disney cancelled TCW, it sounds more like Cartoon Network not wanting to share. They basically went oh well we're not going to make our competitor money screw that. Besides we're not going to make money off of the merch most likely. Lets just cancel it all. If anything the real reason is George Lucas....he couldn't wait just a few more years before selling. If he had waited we would have had more seasons of TCW, 1313 would have been released (Finally a spiritual sequel to SW Bounty Hunter) and THEN Lucas could have sold it to Disney for Charity money....So I know you are all looking to get pissed at Disney, but really it's Lucas and Cartoon Networks fault from the looks of it.

It’s been almost 6 years since I watch the clone wars undone animation of season 7. Also, we cannot wait to see the final animation and series finale of season 7 from Star Wars the clone wars on Disney + this year.
That arc trooper echo design looks so much better than what they actually did, if his colors matched the batch it would be even better

I need to see these episodes. They are too good stories to remain unsaid or to be told in comics, novels or remain as simple references in future projects. These arcs that were cancelled, had the potential to be the best season of all with the boba fett and cad bane arcs of 4 chapters (my favorite), the dark disciple, the son of dathomir, the anakin and kenobi arcs in Utapau and the one with the kasshyk before the droid invasion. I hope to see them at some point in a series like "clone wars lost stories" or released individually as a miniseries of 4 episodes of 25 min just like Tales of the Jedi premiered as a miniseries of 6 episodes of 15 min

Unless the Siege of Mandalore isn't 4 episodes, and unless the Ahsoka-in-the-low-levels of the city isn't an arc, and unless Order 66 isn't an arc, I'd say it's pretty unlikely to be an arc in the final season, unfortunately.

Really don´t. The Clone Wars was a very irregular series, horribles episodes, and pretty good ones. Jar-Jar and Padme episodes, droids episodes, first two seasons sucks. Rebels is for kids, but a very goood series to.

The training of Boba Fett by Cad Bane on Tatooine and their showdown for the leadership of the Bounty Hunter group Bane was leading.
The Ventress teaming with Quinlan Vos to capture Count Dukoo arc.
The story about Ahsoka traveling through the lower parts of Coruscant, after she left the Jedi.
Plus the return of the Bad Batch on Kaskyyyk working with the Wookiees.
All of these were shown as parts from the unfinished episode arcs of season 8.
I know the Ventress/Vos story was covered in the book "Dark Disciples" but it would still be awesome to see animated.
BTW this story arc (the one playing here) would be the 1st four episodes of season 7, then "The Bad Batch" 4 part arc, then "Darth Maul: Son Of Dathomir" 4 part arc. I'm not sure where Dark Disciples fits in, it could be more of season 7, but the later seasons were 12/13 episodes long so Dark Disciples coulda been the start of season 8? Which would leave the Bane/Boba arc, and the Ahsoka arc to end season 8?
The newest season Clone Wars Saved trailer showing at SDCC would be season 9.
