A decade has passed since I played this, as it was my first game I have ever played. I was five years old, this is something really special to me. This game is something that I will remember to the day I am at my oldest age.
WalkingSpirit I will remember every zelda game I've ever played...idk what it is about them, the great soundtrack, the very emotional stories, the inspirational quests of Link, but something about the series is special, and this is one of the saddest songs for me to listen to...idk what it is, but it reminds me of moving on and growing up for some reason and it's just sad, but nothing beats the emotional toll and inspiration skyward sword had on me
It's just"sniff" this game has made me a zelda fan, zelink lover, and it made my favorite game series."bawls for 4 hours" fuck you cod. You will never come close to the greatness, story, gameplay, and awesomeness that is... THE LEGEND OF ZELDA. May the series go on for ever!
I've been a zelda can since I first played my first zelda game: Legend of Zelda: A Link to The Past.. I have all the games all the posters and merchandise, including a hylian shield and master sword replica.
Definitely not the best Zelda game all round, BUT it had the most epic, feel-good, badass moments in the series to date. The fight on horseback with King Bulblin, literally becoming a wild beast, and just dashing across Hyrule Field on Epona to an amazing soundtrack. I said it wasn't the best, but it might just be my favourite. Although, that is a tough decision to make ;)
+Sharpclawasaurus I agree, this game is the last Zelda game i love. I really didn't enjoy Skyward sword (not a bad game) but it's just not a good Zelda game. I prefer dark atmosphere and this is why OoT and Mm are my favorites.
if it's not the best than how can it be your favorite? how else can you rate the game? It's my favorite as well and it doesn't have a pain in the ass water temple haha.
***** You see, "best" has become a term which is given to things that are favoured by the *critics* for certain reasons. The "best" Zelda game is probably Ocarina or LttP, but I personally think both are beaten by MM and TP. So yes, in my mind TP is one of the two or three best Zelda games, but to the greater internet it is not :)
+Joueuse de la Cave i seriously want to play majoras mask on 3ds but im just worried that all tbe switching time stuff will get tedious. Twilight princess is a freaking masterpiece imo, though, is mask really that good?
Bluetycon9 I'd like to butt in here just to say that Majora's Mask became one of my favourite games ever when I played it on 3DS. The time thing isn't tedious exactly. If anything, the time limit gives you this real sense of urgency because you want to get as much done as possible, as fast as possible. Think of time as a challenge, not an inconvenience.
the howling of the wolf, the whistle of the ocarina, and the conducting of the winds, link's songs will forever flow with time as new links come to save the world over and over again
Every Zelda game is so diverse. This one really left me speechless after finishing. One of the first Zelda games I actually had to try to beat. (Apart from Majora's Mask)
I honestly loved the shit out of this game, wasn't perfect but I loved the story, atmosphere, and the music to top it all off, definitely in my top three zelda games
Yeah, it would've been neat if they had added free roam after you beat the game. Just being able to run around and collect everything without wanting to storm the castle and kill Ganon would have been nice.
Zappy Caboose The next Legend of Zelda game, Legend of Zelda for Wii U will be a way bigger game and will be more free-roam based :) At the game awards they showed it, and it looks AWESOME!
I'm coming back to this because i've played Twilight Princess at least 16 times because there's just so much to do in that game, and I will say that Twilight Princess isn't the most polished zelda game by far. THOUGH what I can say is that it is the first one to ever make me fall in love with the characters and care about them and love them, love Link, love Midna, love mostly all of them. It was dark and had very interesting themes, and the music was wonderful, plus the idea that it was paying homage to one of the best Zelda games makes me so happy to be so connected to the game. Most people don't really see it I feel, but a lot of the time when games or people cosplay Zelda or Link they usually take the version from TP because it was used twice for two iterations of the newer Smash Bros game. And it'll probably the first and only game to have Zelda with brown hair haha. I really loved the Wii era, where it could take a game with no voice acting and create a storyline out of it with facial expressions and emotions, though there was lines of dialogue through words in a chat box, there were many points in the game where you were just supposed to think about what they're trying to get at with a single expression or emotion, like in the SSBB Subspace Emissary campaign. I think the graphics really aged very well honestly, and though many of the characters do look weird, they're supposed to show how colorful and different everyone is, and highlight Link as well with his more normal attire.
This game had more of an epic and sophisticated feel to it (with the exception of Malo Mart). This is definitely up there on my Zelda Game favorites. The soundtrack. Hands down one of the best.
I played this back when I was maybe 8 or 9, haha, and it's probably one of the first actual video games I'd ever played (we sold our wii soon after, though :c) and I thought -- and still think to this day -- that it was absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, I never got the chance to try out any of the other major games in the series aside from DS versions such as Spirit Tracks, etc. The soundtrack and storyline was what got me, though. I don't know if it's just the nostalgia (which undoubtedly is what brought me here) or the intricate weaving of the plot that makes this remain my favorite game on the shelf, but it just brings me to tears. HANDS DOWN TWILIGHT PRINCESS!
Twilight Princess...best Zelda game ever...period! The music is inspirational, the action, breathtaking, the storyline, awe-inspiring! Why did you have to leave, Midna, why? I hope she comes back.
This was the first zelda game I ever played when I was 3 I played and played until I got to the sand temple and me being 3 was terrified to play it eventually played it and got to ganon I was so amazed I got OCORINA of Time and majoras mask I AM NOW ON HYRULE WARRIORS THANK YOU MYAMOTO
Singularity I had Link to the Past and got pretty far when I was 3. I didn't beat it until later purely because the game scared me back then. But more impressive, I beat Star Fox SNES when I was 3 dozens of times.
This is my favorite game the first time I played it was when I was about 3 or 4, the water dungeon was insanely hard and my brother had to do it for me. I still play it to this day and don't really play any other game except for windaker.
+otaku nub My siblings had to help me with almost everything, but I liked to watch them play to get ideas on what to do, they had to do most of the water temple for me. (by most I mean 2 3rds of it)
The thing that makes LoZ stand out for me is the sheer amount of creative genius they put into the game. The composers created a theme song that became a monument to video game greatness, the writers created an epic tale of heroism and mythology, and the artists created a beautiful world with architecture and aesthetics that are both familiar and alien at the same time (look at the box art and you'll see). That's why I'll always treasure these games: because they have the soul that others dont.
I have a friend who's an Xbox fanboy. I, being a devoted Zelda fan, introduced him to the series. He wasn't very impressed at first, so I showed him the music. He hasn't touched his Xbox in over 2 months and has dug out his old Wii and started playing the series. Conversion complete.
My Zelda addiction started with this game, which was my first. Ever since, I don't want to miss a single one. Sadly, I don't have all the games. I only have TW and SW. I love The Legend of Zelda. They who say that they do not like it obviously haven't ever played a game of the franchise.
Twilight princess has the best feeling of all Zelda games in my opinion, it's very mysterious and adventurous, i loved every bit of it! It had great music!
No it isn't wrong. This game's strongpoint was its atmosphere and cinematic effect which, includes amazing music and story. Its easily my favorite of all the games. Also Midna. Only companion character that is a main character and isn't annoying, unlike all the fairy characters, specifically Navi.
Last year I heard this song and instantly fell in love again with Zelda games...now ive started the whole franchise over...still stuck on Zelda II: The Adventure of Link
This music is more sophisticated, in terms of arrangements and instrumentations. Such a great arrangement. DIfferent. NIce rhytyhm too. Can imagine sitting in a concert hall watching this. A funkier than previous ones. :)
I just started the Water Temple, been playing Ocarina of Time for a month now. When i was a little younger in like 2010 I played Twilight Princess, game broke a few years later, we never finished it. This brings back so much memories from me being 5 and accidentally deleting my brothers game when he was fighting the final boss, running around as a wolf, so amazing.
I love all of the zelda games, the reason i believe a lot of people consider OoT better than twilight, is because in ocarina the world witnessed a transition between a zelda game in a 2D world to a zelda game in a completely 3D huge world, it shocked everybody, nevertheless that's my very personal opinion and i love both games
So many memories of playing Zelda when I was little. Nintendo, you rock for making this kick ass game. I truly believe Twilight Princess deserves a rank among classics. Just think about it...10 years from now, *ponder* Anyways, growing up with A Link to The Past (thanks to my dad) and Ocarina of Time, plus many, many more, this one really gives it a true "Zelda" feel. Heck, which one doesn't? (excluding the CD-I...)
This was my first zelda game. I was about 9-10 years old and i didn't know how to write or speak english. I had no clue what the hell was going on, so i quit playing right before the goron mines. Later my wii broke so i had no way of playing the game, and it wasn't until i got my wii u that i picked up and played this magical piece of art, and i loved every second of it.
LOVELY! I've just found out that Koji kondo is 50 years, and we all know that japaneses live for like 100 years wich means we will have his music in our ears for at least 40 YEARS MORE!
When i hear this and daydream. It feels like im starting on a quest out in the world. Finding treasures, crossing the seas, walking throught deep forests
Hyrule Field in TP was a great song, but leaving the classic Zelda melody for the credits was nothing less than a stroke of genius! It made beating the game even more special.
I remember this being my first experience with Zelda. I think this is my favorite Zelda game. It tried to be different and I love it for that. I remember on my birthday I opened this but my parents didn't put the gamecube with the other presents. I had to wait a week because my parents wanted to wait until they got paid. It was my mom's idea.
dude all my life i played loZ and its just been awesome from ooT to TP everyone of them was beast and i agree all the sound tracks are alll awesome its hard to explain
this game was like a movie to me every part kept me to the edge of my couch ! especially the end that was so awesome how they showed midnas true form! i like how they made her look. looked realistic. you know?
What makes Twilight princess stick so far out from the others is just how damn strong it came through, you feel the haterd and feel the glory of battle fighting for the land of hyrule like you know its the final stand, every step of the way you find your self fighting harder and harder, and you can feel that. since twilight princess... I haven't really found another game as such.. Twilight princess rules.. >..> we all know that.. majora's mask was the best in fun.
I know this is in the credits, but I was watching that last minute scene while the credits rolled, so I didn't hear how awesome this song is. Until now... :O
this is one reason nintendo rocks, it has the best music ever and as for ripping, i think u just keep ur character still , crank up the volume, and record the music.
i LOVED this game! It's the one that got me into zelda games (I know, I started really late). I've only played a bunch of zelda games so far,and loved them all. But out of all the games I've played in my life, this one is one of my favs *.* (if not my fav).
same xxxdist0rbedxxx!!! i love the feeling. i watch the end credits and dance to the music and think to myself, the journey was long and beautiful. All of the hard work has been finished

My favourite Zelda
Bro
agreed i love skyward sword too :)
Two things Nintendo does well: One is making adventure games and two is fitting nice music to those games. I praise them for doing so. Good lord.
That this game is almost 10 years old is really hard to believe. Holy shit how time flies :o
+Cracken And Ocarina of Time is 17 years old, near my age
Cracken I was in middle school when this shit came out. Spent all my afternoons playing this. Good times.
Ganondorf disliked 36 times on different accounts
Where are the 36 Links?
48 times, ganon stop.
@@phatphungus6453 pleased to say he did.

Twilight Princess isn't only my favorite Zelda game, but it's my favorite Nintendo game!!!!
favorite game of all time (havnt played RDR2 yet tho)
First LoZ game I've ever played, and I must say, one of the best overall!!! All I need is a GameCube and all 500 of the other games, lol.
Legend o zelda twilight princess is by far my favorite game ever
THIS SONG LEAVES ME IN TEARS THE CHILDHOOD AND NOSTALGIA OMGGG

1st BEST Zelda Game I got. Love forever! On wii lol All Zelda games are well made. Kreygasm! Love you Zelda Fans. In love with the amazing music.
So beautiful. Legend of Zelda will live forever, even in a billion years, it will still be living.
this was the first Zelda game i got :)
This music is so good to remember the best moments in Zelda Twilight Princess i lo ve this Zelda game
I feel so nostalgic right now...;-;
playing this game was literally one of biggest moments of my entire life
My favorite one of all zelda games everrrr
Twilight Princess...best Zelda game ever...period! The music is inspirational, the action, breathtaking, the storyline, awe-inspiring! Why did you have to leave, Midna, why? I hope she comes back.
Only a few other video games have a soundtrack as good as The Legend of Zelda series.
This ending theme was so beautiful...
Koji Kondo is such a genius!
Thanks to him, my I-Pod is filled with TP, OoT, TWW and ST songs! So beautiful! T-T

When you were 3? Jesus christ
starfox300 Yeah I'm pretty sure no 3 year old would get past the first dungeon, or even be able to control the character correctly.
Singularity damn you must pass any zelda game like a breeze now
jc ruvalcaba jr I assume you meant to reply to morgan meeks?
Singularity I had Link to the Past and got pretty far when I was 3. I didn't beat it until later purely because the game scared me back then. But more impressive, I beat Star Fox SNES when I was 3 dozens of times.

Omg that's the ending music of the game.. I came here to listen some of the greatest music ever, not to feel :(((

This game takes over ocarina of time!
+Link The Hylian screw it, I'm playing the original GameCube version again!
Ohhhhhh
Eh? Sorry, but nothing's gonna replace my Ocarina of Time. You can have your Twilight Princess over here - don't touch my OoT though.
+Spychalist OoT is also my favorite but I highly enjoy Twilight Princess
+pokeforce I stopped playing Oot bc i hate shadow temple it's the worst
This is just one reason why this is my favourite game of all time, from my favourite game series of all time.
PETITION TO HAVE GAMEGRUMPS PLAY TWILIGHT PRICESS!
Twilight princess has the best feeling of all Zelda games in my opinion, it's very mysterious and adventurous, i loved every bit of it! It had great music!
Is it wrong to like this over the Ocarina of Time theme?
not at all I love this theme so much!!
No it isn't wrong. This game's strongpoint was its atmosphere and cinematic effect which, includes amazing music and story. Its easily my favorite of all the games. Also Midna. Only companion character that is a main character and isn't annoying, unlike all the fairy characters, specifically Navi.
I mean the Ocarina Main theme is kind of weak. So no I wouldn't be too mad.
+ThatGuyFromThatPlace Ezlo wasn't very annoying...
I know this is late but Midna and Ezlo are literally the only good companion characters in Zelda.
Last year I heard this song and instantly fell in love again with Zelda games...now ive started the whole franchise over...still stuck on Zelda II: The Adventure of Link
Like The Sims
THE SIMS SUCK
Rhys Wilson Agreed.

this is hyrule field. i dont think this is the theme :/
this isn't even hyrule field
pretty sure this is. it's hyrule field(daytime) from twilight princess haha. i rechecked once i saw your comment ;)
No your wrong it's the ending theme
It is not the Hyrule fiel theme oO
The Hyrule field theme sounds maybe a littpe similar as this one, but it's not the same
i see. :)
I just started the Water Temple, been playing Ocarina of Time for a month now. When i was a little younger in like 2010 I played Twilight Princess, game broke a few years later, we never finished it. Wtf. Litterally me. My Little Brother deleted it too XD. I needed to replay all of it.

twilight princess is an amazing game, this song reminded me of how good it was and im gonna start playing it again just because of it.
Listening to this while filling out my practice record for band. Epic!
This is the best song ever.
I can't recall how many times I've beat this game start to finish, 2 words: Great Game!
Zelda is one of the best game franchises ever made. The games are always fun and new ideas are brought into every game.
My favorite Legend of Zelda game. I love the soundtrack from here too
So many memories of playing Zelda when I was little.
Nintendo, you rock for making this kick ass game. I truly believe Twilight Princess deserves a rank among classics. Just think about it...10 years from now, *ponder*
Anyways, growing up with A Link to The Past (thanks to my dad) and Ocarina of Time, plus many, many more, this one really gives it a true "Zelda" feel. Heck, which one doesn't? (excluding the CD-I...)
This song makes me want to cry D: This game was so awesome, I love The Legend of Zelda
I love this game to death. It has awesome game-play,a good storyline, and amazing characters.
Also,Link looks attractive in this game.Anybody agree? :3
I love how almost all the main theme of every game contains the original soundtrack; remixed.
Great Credits Song! So Calming. i Could Just Fall Asleep ,it's Like The Credits on Majoras Mask! Greatly Put Together!
This was my first zelda game. I was about 9-10 years old and i didn't know how to write or speak english. I had no clue what the hell was going on, so i quit playing right before the goron mines. aaaaa just hearing the sound makes me happy
When i hear this and daydream. It feels like im starting on a quest out in the world. Finding treasures, crossing the seas, walking throught deep forests
this song hurts my heart. like I'm remembering another life I had....
that's very strange.
Hyrule Field in TP was a great song, but leaving the classic Zelda melody for the credits was nothing less than a stroke of genius! It made beating the game even more special.
this is one reason nintendo rocks, it has the best music ever

First time i heard all the music from Twilight Princess i cried a lot. The music gives a feeling
Link to the Past is the all time classic. That NEEDS to be next on your list
El Twilight Princess siempre fue uno de mis zeldas favoritos
Esta canción me encanta. Ojalá el Zelda U sea la continuación de este gran juego
dude all my life i played loZ and its just been awesome from ooT to TP everyone of them was beast and i agree all the sound tracks are alll awesome its hard to explain
This song is beautiful...makes me want to replay the game about a thousand more times (-=
Nostalgia. Holy fuckimg shit. This is my childhood. I'm gonna cry.
Dem chills when the zelda overworld theme creeps in, awesome
this game was like a movie to me
every part kept me to the edge of my couch !
especially the end that was so awesome how they showed midnas true form!
i like how they made her look. looked realistic. you know?
Ooh god. The times i played zelda 2 and later oracle of seasons were fking awesome. This song reminds me of that.
With my purchase of Wind Waker HD, I now own all of the above games. Can't wait to play them all (although I completely OoT, SS, and TP already).
Its official- The Legend of Zelda series is one of the most greatest video game series ever.
it brings back so much memories...
The Legend of Zelda will always be a legend. :)
i like the full version.
this is realy good. its not cut short or anything
And I quote from IGN's video review of twilight princess
"The BEST Zelda game, period."
brings back so many memories of my childhood!!! :) LOVE THIS GAME!!! :)
So Awesome!!! :)
just finished this game again... video gaming cant get much better then this :)
I know this is in the credits, but I was watching that last minute scene while the credits rolled, so I didn't hear how awesome this song is. Until now... :O
This is the kind of game music that I find awesome.
this is one reason nintendo rocks, it has the best music ever
