My English AP professor spent most of the semester talking about "blm and police brutality."
Both of them advocated for democrats. I didn't blame these people in the video, I blame activists working in academia.

Every ballot should have a short quiz with randomly generated simple questions like "Who is the current president (Correct spelling is not required)", "which number is higher - a third of 9 or a 50% of 8" and "which one is not a country - Trinidad/Triangle". Ballots with 2 or more wrong answers would be automatically discarded.
I agree whole-heartedly but it should be US civics questions. i.e. How many branches are there in the U.S. Federal Government? Who leads/heads the Executive branch? How many articles make up the U.S. Constitution? How many Amendments make up the Bill of Rights? What branch is the Supreme Court of the United States? How many states make up the United States?

We can see lots of species in the fossil record who give up brains because it really wasn't much of an advantage to them. There is no evolutionary pressure to be smarter overall, so long as you have enough brains to sneak up on your food and run away from your predators. Which is also why koalas are some of the dumbest creatures around.

The whole blame the school thing has been going on for years. There are people who i went to school with saying that school should've taught them how to do their taxes. a basic w-2 form. To fill a w-2 form out and file it with the irs all you gotta do is read the instructions.
You don't need a school to learn, this propensity is already absent here, no amount of private or public tutoring is going to help somebody that DOESN'T WANT to learn :)

I've even had girls who studied all the time compete with me for grades and got angry at me for doing better then them when I would literally fall asleep in school. I even had teacher in math wake me up one time, thinking she got me to solve a problem rest of class was struggling with and I told her answer immediately and got it right. After that she left me alone.

It's because a law that was passed tied public school funding to test scores. In order to get as much funding as possible, the schools started teaching students only what was necessary to pass the standardized tests. This is a gross oversimplification but that's basically what's happened in the US. Also, if schools fail students they get less funding so they don't hold people back grades anymore.
