She was talking about the dog food being ground up animals and not about the fact of owning dogs themselves afaik. Just like humans, dogs need certain nutrients. Those can come from animals or plants and it won't matter much if at all to the dog's health, but it will matter for the animals who were killed in the process to make the animal based dog food.

They are often allergic to one or more and their digestive systems can't handle a meat free diet. For instance, dogs often have a terrible reaction to wheat and wheat products while cats usually have a terrible reaction to rice and rice products.

Lots of it shows no negative effects when consuming plant based formulated food and there’s even some evidence of it being better than the animal based food. As for the wheat - according to your logic humans also shouldn’t consume wheat because some humans have terrible reaction to wheat and wheat products (Celiac), yet that’s not the case. Moreover, many animal pet foods have some plants mixed in to give a better nutrient ratio etc. I’ll also add that even if a certain dog/cat has a problem with a certain formula you could, you know, switch to a different one?

@@StMargorach The biggest problem isn't that those people don't understand that they are supposed to pay taxes on it. The problem that they run into is that they don't understand that they have to withhold their own income for taxes. They just go on about their day and treat it like every other job that they started out with in retail. They don't understand what a w2 employee is, or that these social media paychecks are contract payments, not w2 withheld income.
The result is that they spend recklessly without realizing that they need to automatically put 30-50% of their deposits away for taxes.
I doubt this narcissist cares about animals. This is all about her.

My cousin is vegan, and she's able to be a normal functioning member of society who doesn't cause trouble for others. She just doesn't eat animal products, its really it. Its just the classic situation of a vocal minority in a group of people.

Weird thing happened to me a few years ago:
I was out on the front sidewalk picking weeds when a woman walking her dog passed me by. As she walked past me, I heard her say to the dog “Vegan come on, Vegan let’s go.” The thing is, the dog didn’t pay any attention to me at all and walked right by me as if I wasn’t even there, so the woman had no reason to give her dog a command.
I think that she was trying too tell me that she was a vegan without actually telling me that she was vegan.
I was in Toronto with a friend about 10 years ago and there was some sort of vegan protest thing marching up the street. This middle aged woman walks up to us and yells in our faces that meat is murder. We immediately went for burgers.

Funnily enough paying double might not even be necessary. I now get beef exclusively from a farm and most cuts are around the same price (some are actually cheaper!) as the regular stuff in supermarkets. And not to mention that it's better meat as it comes from grass-fed free-range cattle, not grain fed cooped up in a building somewhere for the majority of the time cattle.

Other than protest, he preached, healed, casted out demons, saved a women from stoning, brought some dude back to life, and his ultimate self-sacrifice turned the icon of the most cruel punishment in Roman times into an icon representing health and healing, and a symbol against evil.
The only time he was a bit aggressive is that when he visited the Jewish Temple, he chased away the merchants providing currency exchange services. I know 1 vegan. She never engages in anything like this. She posts pro vegan memes and shares info about how to reduce your meat intake and promotes vegan brands on her Instagram stories. Other than that, unless you ask her about her beliefs, she just lives her life like anyone else.

I was a vegan for 3-4 and while you naturally kind of have to bring it up if you go out to eat I made sure not to hassle others about it and that included if I went to dinner somewhere, I always brought my own food with me so that it didn't force the host to do anything extra. No need to make a fuzz.

@@GUIDE_Nico Either he wasn't a vegan and just wrote it for the likes or he was vegan but not for the animals which means he was just eating plant based for the environment\health reasons. As a vegan myself (since 2019) I find it very weird for someone to "wake up" and realize that consuming animal products is animal abuse when there's an alternative (eating plants) - i.e. going vegan, just to then go back to their old way of eating. I could elaborate more if you're interested.
As for the comment about eating plants being expensive - it isn't. The cheapest foods by far are legumes and whole grains which make the majority of one would need in terms of calories & proteins etc. The meat substitutes are *sometimes* more expensive but that's because meat is subsidized because it's an inefficient bushiness.
@@GUIDE_Nico I initially tried it due to getting a pretty crippling back-injury at the gym, which rediced me from training around 10 hours a weel to 0 and being on my back like 95% of the day... I was used to eating a lot and just continously train to keep it in check, but when that happened I rapidly went from around 110 kg's to 125 and rising, sp I needed to do something that was not starving myself :-P 3 months after going 100% vegan (plant-based specifically) I was actually down to 97kg's and I always ate until I was full the whole time. My GF was the one that wanted to try it. It wasn't a principle thing for me. I ended it mainly because I'm back in the gym again anyways, but I still eat far less meat than I did in the past though. Began food can be made to taste fantastic, but it is a bit of work to figure out what works and not when you've not grown up with it tbh.
