I remember back in the 90s going to the roof of a multi storey car park in Blackpool on November 5th. Some great views. Had the roof to ourselves to eat our fish and chips and watch the many firework displays. It was also an awesome sunset.
Yorkshire Fisheries was my first port of call yesterday when I arrived in Blackpool.

Pretty sure the Townsman is where the old Blinkers use to be in the 80s ,old haunt of mine along with shara grill and the squires behind the bus station

@@jacquelinemccann1493 if it's sunsets you want, go to the west of Scotland. I've been to a lot countries and the sunsets are stunning in Scotland. I haven't been to Blackpool so I can't comment on the the sunset there. Yet I have been to America, South Africa, Kuwait, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, India to name a few, along with many European countries, but not Blackpool.
Another completely honest video (tram upheaval) from someone who quite clearly loves Blackpool (as a resident)with a passion, as my wife and I do (as visitors) one can hear the love in all of your descriptions/views etc , thank you again Stephen

Aww what a fabulous video Stephen I really enjoyed your walk about and I do wish I was there I love the place its great to see everyone out enjoying themselves you will be getting quite a fan club every one recognises, you really have to stop and look now for the trams I think a lot of visitors don't realise they go down there now ,we always use that carpark it's safe and so simple to get out of its a bit of messing about to get the train from where I am it's two to three changes I would rather it go straight therev❤

Goodness me absolutely banging for Friday night in Blackpool Stephen. That PDA Darts tournament has some big crowds at The Winter Gardens. Banging in Brannigans and Wetherspoons and some of the bars and clubs. Ma Kelly’s always banging no matter which one you go to. Sunset as ever is amazing in Blackpool. I do like the new tram station at North Station. Great for visitors like myself when you arrive by train straight onto a tram for your desired destination. Nice vlog Stephen 👌

That was fantastic Stevie, I loved the views from the top of the car park. The town looks great, and what a gorgeous evening. It's such a shame that people are prevented from enjoying a seat in the beautiful, ornate, Victorian shelters. Quite honestly Blackpool Council should be ashamed! They should stop allowing these alcohol fueled, highly offensive louts from commandeering the shelters. Many people would get pleasure from sitting in them, enjoying the views, and the spectacular Sunsets unique to Blackpool, but they are unable to. What is so difficult about policing the shelters? All they need to do is put security cameras up and get these lowlife characters out of there!! Thank you for another wonderful video Stevie, as always full of interesting facts and extremely entertaining xx

The pub and club scene is a shadow of its former self, so it's good to see a busy night. Still nothing like the good old days of the 80's and 90's.
My old haunts are so long gone I can't remember most of their names!
Most nights out ended in Rumours, or in the taxi rank outside opposite, in the days before they had "security" at the ranks. Do they still do that?
While the beer monsters fought over the next cab, I'd jump in and be on my way! 😇🤣

Who the heck have you got to get permission from to use a tripod on the pier, never heard anything like it!

Hi Stephen. Another great video of Blackpool from you. My friend and I have just got back today from visiting Blackpool for 3 nights and I was really hoping to bump into you. Been following you roughly from when you started vlogging. Anyway we’d been to The Grand Theatre to see Footloose on Fri night and can’t believe you were there not long after we’d left! As you were filming this video we were on the Central Pier. I got some lovely shots of the tower all lit up in pink and some great shots of the prom from the pier. Maybe bump into you next time we visit Blackpool 🤗 Love your work x

Great video Stephen. What a beautiful evening, that view from the side of the north pier was stunning. The council need to do something about the beer monsters down there. It’s a lovely area with nice shelters but it makes people feel uncomfortable 😢. I heard that the piers are privately owned and that they don’t like people filming on them… strange as it’s all free advertising for them xx
Yeah it's a shame the beer monsters spoil that area near the North Pier. I don't know why security on the pier is so jumpy about photographers.

Quite nice Noctilucent Clouds last night stretching down to about the middle of the sky at about 2230.Maybe they weren't down your side of England.
Unfortunately it was a bit too cloudy last night. I did look whilst it was clear at around 23:00 but didn't see anything.

Fab video again Stephen great view in the car park but it was quite eerie with it being empty. Nice summer evening for sitting outside having a drink. You will have to try tower fisheries £5.95 wonder what they will be like at that price? It's amazing how many B&Bs that are on the back streets,some look okay. It's certainly a different look in the evening. Thank you I really did enjoy looking and love your knowledge of the buildings.

Tram extension was built with a non repayable transport grant - so a free hit to build it. Podbaba Transport you tube video shows today, Sunday, most of the trams on the extension absolutely rammed with passengers. Lots of fare money coming in. It will be a success despite the money grabbing taxi drivers wanting it to fail.😊

The new tram stop gives a joined up transport system, makes sense, makes town more attractive to visitors for holidays and conferences.
As for beggars there are the ones who do it as a job (we’ve seen the shift change at mc Donald’s on south shore) then there are the homeless setting up tents in doorways, two different problems that need tackling.

My guess is the tram line was extended to meet the railway station for tourists. Not being from England its just a guess. Correct me if I am wrong. Great video again Stephen. Beer monsters out and about

I used spend a lot of time in the pub now called "Champs", back in the day when it was "The Shakespeare".
Other usual pubs were The Stanley Arms, Scrooges & The Galleon.... if you can remember them!
I do remember the Shakespeare. I did go in there and the Criterion back in the 90's.

Berlin certainly gets hot in summer. I'd be interested to know what the humidity levels are, because that is a major factor in how comfortable it is.

Hi Stephen excellent vlog. Loved the sea scape scenes, very beautiful. I think the North Railway Station link to the Tram Station is a great idea. It is that clear link to town either by Taxi on foot or of course a tram ride. It needs to be managed well, as it is a valuable resourse for visitors to the town. ❤😊

I wonder, though, if that was in fact a yellow-legged gull near the chippie. It looked like a lesser black-backed gull to me. I think the yellow-legged one has a lighter gray back than that one.
Possible. I'll do a video looking at the different gulls to see if we can identify them.

I was watching a live on another platform this afternoon and the tram driver opened the doors on the wrong side at the new stop. Major teething problems with it by the looks of it.

Thanks for That Stephen. Might have mentioned it before but the Dukeries was my Blackpool 'home' for the best part of a decade when I visited. So so sad to see its decline after the owners Marilyn and Dan sold up an retired. The Akash is a must visit of mine every time I come to BP.. Curry heaven. I recommended it to the Chatter Guys. They gave it 4 out of 5. Would have been 5 but found a bit of accidentally spilled curry in the meu. 😆 I have become friends with the owner Sami. Well worth a visit if you do a food review. Always a welcome with plenty of banter.
I've seen Sami a few times and he's always asking me to visit.

Blackpool my old stomping ground, when I was a community mental health nurse, great days, fantastic team to work with, left in 2005 to move to Australia. I know their is two very different sides to the famous sea side town.
