The illegals have got it pretty good there- I walked into one of the hotels looking to book a room.when I got accidentally locked out of mine. Decent enough hotel but the inhabitants were rough as assholes.

Charles, a woman killed herself yesterday here in Wilmslow. She threw herself off the bridge on to the A34 bypass. Not that unheard of you might think… but the crazy thing about this, is her husband was with her in the car… she was driving over the bridge, and out of nowhere she pulled the car over, and jumped off into traffic. Can you imagine how he ever gets over witnessing that? I didn’t witness the jump, but I witnessed him crying in distress being comforted by a woman. I live very close by.
I say this to you, because I know you’ve been to Wilmslow quite recently. And we really need to do something about mental health crisis.
And what the crisis is: is people who are a little bit sad, and think they are entitled to happiness, when they don’t have it, the tell everyone they have MH issues, and take up valuable resources. So people like this woman, clearly with REAL mental health issues, have to wait 8 weeks to see a mental health professional!
That is what the crisis is. And I hope you will try and bring awareness to this issue Sir Charles!

My first experience of Blackpool was a very rainy summer day trip in 1974. So excited as the Dr Who exhibition had recently opened earlier that
year. To come face to face with the monsters and Daleks you had been terrified by on tv was both fascinating and darn scary. You could walk into the pleasure beach free and pay per ride which was pence. The funhouse was fantastic albeit the scary laughing clown. The song "Beach Baby" was in the charts then and always reminds me of this visit whenever I hear it, which of course is rare now. It was much more a family resort back then with lots of elderly folk who came out of the war dressed in flat caps, raincoats, headscarves' and tweed jackets. Last time I went was 1994 and it had already got pretty seedy by then. I might drive up again this year and document it for old times sake.

Blackpool declined when the greedy owners of the pleasure beach made the change to charge just to walk around the pleasure beach also doing away with being able to buy tickets for the rides we wanted to ride. Another big mistake was wrist bands. By the time we would of paid to travel there and pay parking and paying for a guest house or hotel and food. There isnt much left over. So for the pleasure beach to charge to enter just to walk around and then pay for wrist bands food and drinks is crazy as people turned there back on there crazy charges. It was so good back in the days of free entry and paying for ride tickets for rides we wanted to ride allowing some money left for food and drinks and amusements. Now Blackpool is like a ghost town apart from homeless and drug addicts sleeping on the streets. Hotels and guest houses and pubs and shops boarded up. The greed of the Pleasure Beach killed of Blackpool for visitors who turned the back on the Pleasure Beach entry fee and wrist band costs.

I live in great Marton near Stanley Park, so if you want to do a video then film around there , big difference.
The council are supposed to of put millions into doing the place up where the run down areas are and still we wait. The people here are very friendly but you still get a few odd balls like you do everywhere. I never thought I would make roots here when I first came here but here I am many years later, still in same full time job, bought a house and still happy. Its what you make of it

Everyone should have the same due care & attention to keep them, & their area safe. It´s called having a police force that actually care about policing, rather than politicising.
