- Celia went chasing after spiritual power through New Age practices but didn't find it fulfilling. After desperately calling out to God with an open heart he revealed himself to her and she gave her life to Jesus. After working in ministry and seeking the gifts of the Holy Spirit, pride had begun to creep in which led to Celia backsliding but through the Grace of Jesus she was again redeemed.

This sister said a lot! The greatest thing she said was to have fear of the Lord. This is lacking in a lot of believers lives. Don’t be silly, you are getting it confused. What would the ‘Lord’ want more than ever? -for no one to have any fear. Fear kills the heart. There is only love or fear. Only the wicked should fear the Holy Spirit, because the spirit is that which opposes fear!
@6969SpAcE6969 if you look at the Hebrew in the old testiment where it talks about The fear of the Lord..and to fear God. It's not fear as in afraid dear it's fear as in holding God in the awe and respect that God deserves, it's humility of position, a heart posture of acknowledging how great God is and who he is, how we are nothing great without Him. It helps us to remain humble and to depart from evil and the things which God hates so we can remain obedient and close to His Holiness and His Majesty.Yes, God is Love and there is no fear in love. You can still fear God and have no fear. This is just because English has only one word for fear just like we have only one for love. Check out the Hebrew and Greek root word meaning in the strongs concordance and Psalms 9.20, 19.9, proverbs 1.29, 2.5, 3.7, 8.13, 14.26 & 27, 15.16 Isaiah 11.2 where it talks about one of the Spirits or aspects of the Spirit of God as being The Spirit of the Fear of the Lord representing one of the 7 lamps burning continually before the throne of God. This fear of the lord is actually a gift of God's Spirit and is wisdom from God as oppossed to our own wisdom and is spiritual. As we see in James whomever lacks wisdom let him ask God whom gives liberally, and it shall be given him. Read on to chapter 3 for more about this wisdom that the Bible has already told us is the fear of the Lord in proverbs.

I totally relate to her story of being delivered from addiction to smoking cigarettes. God delivered me from alcohol after years of me trying to do it on my own and taking pride in my short triumphs over it. In the end it was God's victory over my addiction. Praise HIM!

I am a Guy , but Abi was ( still is ) my nickname....funny...It looks liké a lot of us Christians have to bé delivered of various " things " that choke us ...liké thé Weeds who choked thé good grain , and rendered it unfruitful. I was also set free from addictions and It took a lot of heart aches and I have to forgive & have no hate or bitterness in my heart. God is still cleaning my heart out, it’s so awesome to be free and more free everyday!

This happened to me also. The Lord will definitely give you lots of spiritual insight, knowledge, and inlightment when we seek Him, but in this fallen world it always goes back to the beginning of (fear is the beginning of all knowledge) our walk must stay humble. For our own good. We do our best decipling when we want everyone to have the same joy we find in a personal relationship with the Lord. ❤

Yes what I meant is it's not the actual act it's the fact that it separates us from him that he's more concerned about. For example the religious people are full of the knowledge of good and evil..do this don't do this..the law basically..this is a sin they point out etc etc but God is more like ..come to me I love you then we will sort this..
@@altarlifenot sure what you’re saying but if you are saved and sin your REPENTANCE is the most important thing you can do because your sins are covered but if you don’t repent then he will leave you to your sinful life and move away. Holy Spirit has to stand there and be a part of your sin… this is the worse thing you can do.
@@SanctifiedLadyno, you don’t clean up before taking a shower. You come to Jesus and He cleans you up. That’s what they’re saying. Come to Jesus as you are and He will sort it all out. We have to be taught by Him, changed by Him and done in His power. Pointing out sin is a religious spirit. You don’t know why people do what they do. The lives they’ve lived. The things they have to overcome and you cannot remove sin by condemning people. Any real believer wants to please God and He knows this. So if they struggle with smoking still, trust me, they don’t want to keep doing it, but need the Lord’s help. And He doesn’t always deliver immediately. Sometimes there’s a deeper root to a sin that needs to be addressed and God knows what He’s doing. We are not God and cannot make people turn from sin by just hammering them over the head. It only condemns and makes them feel not good enough so why try? The love of God and His work is what changes us.

Don't be sorry to speak what God does not like. I know he does not condone adultery or divorce or any sin and as we hear from Paul if we transgress part of the law we have transgressed the whole law. And who here is without sin my friend? Let him cast the first stone. But Christ did not condemn me when I humbled myself and came to him but the religious whispered if he was a man of God he would know what manner of women this is. He knows that I am a sinner, the worst . But I have been sanctified washed and renewed redeemed from the penalty of sin and he has said it, and I believe Him not the the voices that rise up in judgment against me for they are already condemned. Moses killed a man, David too was adulterous and there was consequences that they faced but who is there that talks to God fave to face like Moses? Or knows God's heart like David? You should do well to listen to my testimony again for I make no concession for sin but rather in the grace and mercy of God for whom is forgiven much is loved much.

I found some of Celia's testimony quite jarring. While she was sharing it I could see in my mind's eye a Cinderella spirit that must've been present in her at some stage in her past ie mother dies early, a distant father(daddy issues) and mean step-mother. All this happening in her life at a very young age. I could also see her funny/cheeky spirit shine thru as well. Her struggle to try and do the right thing in her walk with God is no different to any of ours. Hard but worth it

@@altarlife I’ve always felt his presence! But at stressful times I’m desperate to feel it right away! Many yrs ago I was emotionally struggling, I hadn’t slept for 2 weeks. I went into my living room & I said, Lord I’m not leaving until I feel your presence. With that, starting with my head to every being of my body He filled me with His spirit & he put me to sleep. I slept like a rock! I ask him for what I need & he always comes through. I’m a very giving person! I’ve always given big even when I’ve not much & he always gives it back much more than what I give. When I evangelize I tell people, thank God for everything even in the bad times, always give back to him & he’ll always take care of you. I’m confused. She got the baptism of the Holy Spirit. God told her don’t glorify demons by learning about them then the deliverance from smoking - (that’s good ) then she went to a deliverance minister. How would she still have demons if she’d been baptized in the Holy Spirit?

Especially about learning about deliverance is glorifying them, I need an explanation. Before this deliverance ministry, I didn't even think that ppl needed it.
It’s like having rooms of your house that are locked - there can be areas of our being that are locked to the Holy Spirit, because of unrepentant sin, and they can be inhabited by demons. It’s not demon possession, it’s being oppressed or demonised. This also happened to me and I was delivered after having been a born again Christian for decades.

If you want a full relationship with God through Jesus, you just pray, acknowledge to Him that you need Him to forgive your sins, and ask Him to be the LORD of your life. If you mean that prayer, He WILL touch your soul with salvation and you will be born again -- made fresh as a new person in Him. Then begin to read about Jesus in the Gospel of John, and talk to Him about your decisions and the way you spend your time. Find a Bible-teaching Church and rest in the love God has for you. You don't have to beg, just put your trust in Him. He will touch you if you receive His Love. Don't let yourself think you are not worth His love - He died on your behalf so you could be with Him. He loves you SO much.
I feel the same sometimes nowadays. But there was a time when I did received. The difference is that, then my heart was pure, now I feel like I am asking from a place of fear, from a place of jealousy, from a place of earthly needs, not truly seeking Him but my own needs. So ask yourself what are your reasons for wanting what you want. Do you seek the blessings for Him or for yourself? Listen to this testimony few more times and you will understand. I know is hard, hung in there and don't give up.
Oh I got a lot of unnecessary trouble first before I was enlightened and transformed. It's different for everyone if you had heard me in my 7 years you woukd not of wanted it in fact it would be me saying what you said. You see it's not about us. I didn't earn it or deserve it but I had to come to an understanding and this is my scripture for you to hold on to, trust in the lord with all your heart, lean NOT on your own understanding but in all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your path. I've watched several of these testimonies where some have been knee-deep in sin but have an encounter where things just fall into place for them. People comment about a pure heart, yet the Bible states that we are to come as we are.

If you want to see pride then go read again how Annanias was Condemned by Peter for not giving full sum of money for building the church (kingdom on earth) 😅 Yeh I too had met Jesus in my room as a child. He opened my eyes so I could see the pride in church leaders and church goers. No dear go watch Myth Vision or read the book of Francine Rivers ( Hadassah) and you will see what pride means.
I know she doesn't compare with these people, but God wants us pure and IF our heart can take it, He will work on us getting out even the little speck. In my walk I got to that level, I have asked Him to show me even the smallest sin ...ohh boy...I didn't understand what I was asking for...I lived in torment for 2 years, it was so harsh. I was convicted by every little tiny thing. And then I realised what truly means to be pure. Nope, we can not do it. So praises to our merciful Lord for what He has accomplished for us on the cross. We do what we can, important is to understand when we are wrong and repent often.

I always put my trust in God always cause God never failed me. He never did anything to prayer he answer and new time and do season today, any questions comments back you got a question I’ll try to answer OK I’ve been serving God for a long time. Oh yes, yes, I do some traveling here and there speaking a lot of local churches not all the time with the way that things are going on with this world, but I do pray for people I might not reach out where they’re at at this moment, but I can reach out is praying for them. Thanks for this testimony. I can relate to how your born again journey with God started and your testimony has answered some questions I had about myself. I remember last year, around January, I started just reading the Bible, and I felt the Holy Spirit ask if He could interrupt my Bible reading. I spent just over 2 months reading Genesis, Romans and Hebrews and I couldn't get enough of it. I lost interest in football (and I was a big football lover), and certain things just fell off me that I had struggled with for more than 20 years. I had known of Jesus and Him being my saviour, but I had to admit that I had never truly made HIm Lord of my life before this. And when I did, I started actually speaking with Him, and it was wonderful. Thanks for revealing the fear of God and how we can ask Him for it: I have to say that I never previously heard we could ask God for it, but thank God I came across your testimony. Thank you.
Oh yes it's kind of hidden in scripture. That we can ask him for it. Solomon alludes to it in his proverbs seek or get wisdom get understanding.. and in Isiah we see that the 7 spirits or flames 🔥 of the Spirit of the Lord are Spirit of understanding, knowledge, the angel of the lord. The fear of the Lord. Spirit of Council of the Lord, Spirit of might of the lord..so we have our understanding and then there is His lol 😆 so to get it we must get it from him also he says if any man lack wisdom let him ask God whom gives freely and the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom ❤🎉❤ praise God.
