I feel your hurt and despair- my younger sister is also into New Age. It's so illogical. I have been thinking about sending her a RUclips testimony of a woman her age that came out of it. They tend to not listen to wisdom from us at this age! Sigh. Wow i relate so much with my parents splitting when i was young. Mum with bi polar and a Dad who was present but not emotionally. As a kid feeling like you are the adult when your mum is reduced to acting like a child can cause rebellion. Also as my mum was a christian i had a perception that it was due to her faith. Praise God i made my way to him despite the enemy pushing me in the other direction from a young age
God has gifter her with a great ability of recounting her path, pointing out the significant events and to each their spiritual significance. I am crying, I have been so deep in the New Age, I have accepted Jesus in my heart, but I still have spiritual attacks. They manifest as rage, shouting, yawning, shaking and sense of mental disturbance (like I am behaving as crazy person). Now watching this I cry and feel so down, because I want to be fully delivered!

Many deceived new agers are genuinely looking for the truth and when they have very real experiences with counterfeit powers (demonic) it validates their new beliefs but doesn’t truly fix them or fill them until they end up in a very destructive cycle of going down endless rabbit holes searching for more “truth”. Praise the Lord Jesus that he leaves the 99 to go after those lost sheep. Many new agers are finding Jesus, getting saved, delivered and healed. My oldest brother is a born again Christian and is the person I have been seeking advice from since my encounter with our Lord and Savour on Friday 13th October this year (less than a month ago). My brother suggested that I read the book of Ruth. I read it, was a bit confused by Noami's statement "Call me Mara" because she felt that God took her two sons and her husband from her because he was displeased with her. I now know that "mara" is the feminine word for "bitter" in Hebrew and when people name their daughters "Mara" it can be in reference to the powerful and beautiful story of Ruth. My brother (Mark is his name) has a good amount of knowledge about the Bible and understands the laws of that time (he's done a lot of work on himself throughout his walk with Jesus). When I am confused by certain phrases in the Bible I call him and he explains what it means. Mark, like myself, my other two older brothers and one of my sister-in-laws, was on the "new age" path. I thought about ending my own life, literally, every single day until that night, almost a month ago when I prayed to God and asked for forgiveness. I haven't thought about ending my life at all since that night. God bless you Mara.

We are not to worship statues or make idols. It sounds like God used the sight of the statue to remind her to look to Jesus. As the spiritual person that she already was, I don't believe she was praying TO the statue, but rather, positioning herself physically as she was spiritually seeking Jesus. I don't recommend any statues or likenesses to be used in worship. God is Spirit and those who worship Him must worship Him in SPIRIT and in TRUTH.
It is interesting to me that a common thread is the single mother home, and destruction of the nuclear family leading these people into the occult.... This is something that has been on my heart and mind, after last year my then wife had what seemed like a switch flipped and she destroyed our family by committing adultery and divorcing me... Now I'm struggling hard to provide stability and faith for my kids. I believe that they are linked!

God sends us through the new Age. He sends us visions, psychic powers, clairvoyance and audience........but he also tests our minds to toughen then- the demons come and torment us and our minds but when we become stronger God will appear. God will put us through this fire and brimstone...,not through bullshit fire and brimstone of losing money or divorce or any other trial via flesh. He puts us through our paces to know our minds So we know our own minds. Our minds we silence via inner work.... we do the work in the new age, yes this is also the domain of the fallen because it can take the week....but through these long and dark nights of the soul, Jesus or God will enter us and create anew.

Again in the gospels we find a woman Mary who anointed Jesus with myrrh oil. The oil God instructed to be in holy anointing oil and holy incense. Myrrh is mentioned in the Bible 156.
But, as it is with everything, it’s about the person using it. They are just tools, our God gave us❤️

We are not to worship statues or make idols. It sounds like God used the sight of the statue to remind her to look to Jesus. As the spiritual person that she already was, I don't believe she was praying TO the statue, but rather, positioning herself physically as she was spiritually seeking Jesus. I don't recommend any statues or likenesses to be used in worship. God is Spirit and those who worship Him must worship Him in SPIRIT and in TRUTH.

It is interesting to me that a common thread is the single mother home, and destruction of the nuclear family leading these people into the occult.... This is something that has been on my heart and mind, after last year my then wife had what seemed like a switch flipped and she destroyed our family by committing adultery and divorcing me...
