I got freed from alcohol addiction, at the end I drank every day for two years. Now two years and four months sober.
We need to pray for the salvation of every person on the planet. God is willing for none to perish. We also need to pray that God will speed up the saintification of His children and that we all will be walking out our callings. That God will turn us into a spiritual army and that we all will reach a new level in Him.
This cycle you're explaining is something I'm experiencing as well with weed and cigarettes and pornography and I believe there is more to this faith than I've experienced and you mentioned not having an experience yet and I'm just trusting in the Lord to guide me and help me but I feel stuck and like it's hard to seek the Lord
Just start praying even if it feels awkward. Ask god to rid you of and break these strongholds. I struggled with alcohol and nicotine for the past 5 years and i finally broke the cycles only after fasting for a day and praying during the fast. Sorry for rambling but this was a breakthrough moment for me and I'm hoping it can help someone else!
Get in the word. The only difference between the word and the lord is one letter. Also pray. I started really praying and have anywhere from 20-45 minute prayers. It really really is healing once you get past that wall of awkwardness and paralysis to do it. You just have to do it and you will slowly become more knit to God.
Get off the dr--gs and the pornography. You’ve got to fight for your life! Jesus can set you free but you must seek Him with your whole heart, give up all for His sake and take up your cross and follow Him. Meditate on the cross and what He’s done. Check out Derek Prince on RUclips, I think you would like him.

In the US weed is increasingly legal. I am glad people will not have their lives drastically impacted by stigmatizing drug charges and prison times, but I also fear that more people will fall into addiction. Praying that people will fill their lives with Jesus instead of drugs.
The problem with this is that people here seem to acknowledge that yes, you can have an addiction to alcohol, vapes/ cigarettes, Xanax, pain pills, heroin, coke, etc... yet they seem to have a HUGE problem addressing and acknowledging that also YES, people absolutely can be addicted to weed and have a terrible problem with it as well. They live in this delusion that you cannot be addicted to it, and they try to normalize smoking everyday... but that is not normal at all. Weed is a drug just like all of the other ones that I've listed, but people are in this denial that that one in particular can cause any harm to your health or life or even cause you to be addicted, which is a complete lie. It is put on a pedestal here, as if it is the only drug that is safe... and people even wear t-shirts or hats with the pot leaf on them... that just shows how addicted and obsessed people are. This denial and whole attitude towards weed here really really needs to change.
Thank you Jai for being honest and open with sharing your journey from addiction to Jesus. I know so many can relate including myself. I thank God every day I didn’t die from overdose or by taking my own life. I praise the Lord for he is so good. May God bless you and your family forever and ever Amen 🙏❤️

Similar to my son's Samuel's life but he died of fephanal overdose on October 23 he was 28. Jesus brought him home. Praise the Lord for his grace.
Fentynal is such a disgusting and terrible substance. It really is just a poison that should have never been created. I'm so so sorry you had to suffer like that, and I'm so sorry that he did as well when he was on this earth.
Opiates change the way your brain works and it is permanent, they create new receptors in your brain so even when you are 8 years or 10 years clean, you never in your life stop thinking about that substance. Once those receptors are created, if you are not on that substance, and those receptors are not filled, you don't get a good night of sleep, nothing brings you true happiness, your body and mind never functions right, even after years. It's a living hell and at least he is no longer in pain or suffering anymore. I'm sure you will see him again after this life is over and you can spend eternity with that beautiful soul that I'm sure you always knew was still buried deep inside of him.

I love the authenticity of these testimonies. A lot of what Jai said resonated with me so much. God is really working in us and it's very obvious to me that He is preparing His people for His coming! Lord please help me my enemies are plotting my future they want to see me stressed and fighting for my life all the time. My enemies want me to have no life. They want to see me not married and no kids. They want to see me failing in life. Lord is my witness all i do is pray and want good for others but my enemies make me feel like im the bully and how i should fail in life witch is not fair. Lord please stop my enemies Amen
