    While on a cruise dinner in Bangkok, me and my wife chose the 'International Menu' (we're both Indians) and in no time regretted that decision outrightly as soon as we got to taste everything in the buffet except this gem of a dessert. I literally filled my belly savoring this delicacy! XD

    Any alternative for the tapioca Starch? So difficult for me to find it where I live. Can I use cornstarch? 😢 Or tapioca starch is a must?

    • @HomeCookingwithSomjit
      @HomeCookingwithSomjit  10 месяцев назад

      @AniShaPol. I have not tried using the cornstarch for this recipe. I think you can try. However, please use lesser amount. Also the cornstarch tend to stick to each other and harder to separate. Happy cooking 😀😀

    예전에 만들었을 때 맛있게 먹었어요😋
    그런데 끓이기 전의 상태로 냉동 보관해도 되나요?
    아니면 끓이고 식혀서?

      Hi hj b. Thank you for the comment. I would not recommend making and keeping it either in the fridge or freezer for this as it will lose its texture and won't be nice to eat. It's better to make and consume within a day. Happy cooking 😀😀

      Hi Fc Galaxy. So glad to hear that you have been enjoying the dessert. No. it's not any seed but water chestnut. It's very easy to get anywhere in SE countries. Thanks for the comment. 😀😀

  • @zerababe
    @zerababe 7 лет назад +3

    You should boil the chestnut a little bit at a time so it will cook perfectly :-)

      Hi Hannah Jeyaseeli. Yes, you can but the oy of eating this dessert is the crunchy water chestnut coating with a chewy texture of the flour though. 😀😀
