    I used to work at a Thai restaurant 7 yrs ago and I miss this dessert so much. I sometimes make this at home and it's a best seller for my family and friends all the time. I love watching you make it. It's like watching our Thai Chef teaching us how to make this lovely dessert again. Hehe 😄

    Dear Ms Katherine thank you very much for this recipe. My family used to spend a lot of money buying this desert at the morning markets. Now I can make them at home even the casing, it finishes very fast. Thank you agian🤩🤩

    Tried this since i have hoen kue flour and water chestnut at hand. Reduced 10g sugar but it's still too sweet to my liking. Will try again maybe with only 50-60g
    Edit: i made it again today with only 60g sugar and everyone love it. It's sweet but not too much until you wont be able to eat. Btw it's better to wait for the green part to set or the white will 'sink' into the green part

      did u follow her exact measurements, but reduced sugar to 60g? how many will it make?
      also wondering if can skip the pandan leaves for plastic cups? i know the pandan adds a nice scent to the dessert but just wondering if it makes a huge difference. thanks!

    👍谢谢你的分享。我与家人都很喜欢吃这个甜点。之前曾在马来人禁食节时可以买到来吃,但是近几年来已经鲜少有人做来卖了,即使有,味道也不及以前吃过的味道(太甜了)希望我能成功做出当年吃过的味道。

      Perhaps if you use corn starch as a thickener it would help (she showed that step at the begining, but the name of that flour is new to me).

      Kalau xsilap, Madam Kathrine Kwa pun orang Malaysia. Ye, kuih limas dan kuih tako adalah 2 kuih yg berbeza. Bulan biasa susah nak jumpa, tapi bulan puasa senang sikit. Banyak jual di bazar Ramadhan.

      Vanassarin Leeanupat Stealing recipe? Well, in Malaysia also we have this kind of kuih or delicacies. Didn’t both Thailand and Malaysia are neighbouring countries? In fact, you can found this kuih in other countries nearby to Malaysia. I wonder why didn’t I see your comments on other Western cheesecakes or Chinese mooncakes in her videos to demand her a credit to the original recipe country?
