- hi hi hi! today, i am so excited to bring you a day in the life of what it is like to be a virtual high school teacher! my district made our schedule with a lot of flexibility and time for support. this allows students much more independent work time and gives teachers more prep time!

I love your theme, its so cute! I learned this tip recently, #GameChanger. If you don’t like the glare from everything that’s laminated on the wall, you can spray clear matte spray paint on it!!!! I tested it once but I have to go back and finish the job. It helps SO MUCH when I am filming my classroom for my RUclips videos. People can see what I am talking about better!

I will be a first year teacher this year (I am old enough to be your momma) and I am thinking about doing a similar YT channel but focusing on teaching with chronic illness. As a younger person with MUCH more technology expertise, do you have any tips or important things to know about filming a YT channel as a teacher?
What time do you arrive at school on a normal basis? Just curious. ❤️
Right now, I arrive later than normal because we don't start teaching till the afternoon. I get to school around 7:45-8:00ish.

Hey! Thank you so much! I would say that school helped with the technical side of things (like terminology and procedures) but the student teaching was really where I learned how to teach! That is where I got comfortable in the classroom and learned how to manage a class. Student teaching is SOOO beneficial!!
