I got all the butterflies right with you flashing back to when I started teaching in 2016. It’s so refreshing to see new teachers and “excited” teachers. There is so much negativity in the teaching profession right now that this was a much needed breath of fresh air! I hope your first year is treating you well.

I love how you mentioned how there are so many kids that struggle with math and how when they hear the word math they get frustrated. This was totally me in high school and even me now in college.

How exciting it was to watch this video! You are so young and your zest for life is very pure. Teaching nowadays is very stressful and challenging. I hope that the teaching profession doesn’t burn you out or cause you to be stressed. Teaching should be rewarding not stressful and laborious. All the best.
I love your desk space! I do not think it's crazy at all. Students need to see "everything you love" posted around your work station. That's how you humanize yourself! I just posted my classroom set up videos as well as a room tour and that defiantly something I need to work on in my space, personalization. I am always so recourse focused in the stuff I display. Thanks for sharing!
