A true legend. David needs to recognized for all he contributed to the music industry. He did it all. Pop, bubble gum, contemporary , piano bar Broadway , Vegas television, movies and yes he did do Rock and Roll. His legacy lives on

Here it is 2021...and I still watch this AMAZING concert. I am watching it now, and I watched it last night before I went to sleep.
David is BRILLIANT 👏 His voice is deep, raw and with such emotion!! Loved all of his songs, but I have to say that his 2 best were: " Thin Ice" and " The Last Kiss". Of course also: " I am A Clown'. Simply GORGEOUS!! 💙🦊🌺
I was in the 2nd row at Edinburgh on this concert tour…he was just stunningly beautiful with that unmistakable voice. ❤️❤️❤️

Listening to this makes me happy and sad. When he sings, "I write the songs" I am very sad for him. David was not treated fairly. He was so talented and did not get the recognition he deserved. i love him and miss him. I listen to DC several hours a day.
He got the recognition from his fans around the world. He wanted recognition from his peers which is understandable but he wasn’t going to achieve that primarily his peers were all jealous of his success even though they made fun of him for being a “Teen Idol” I’ll bet they would’ve given their right arm to have that level of success themselves.
I love and miss David too I too listen to his music every single day.
Yes, fans recognized him, but the ones that truly mattered to him didn't. So sad😢

Such a complete injustice that David wasn't put in the Rock and Roll hall of fame years ago while he was still alive.😢. WHY?! He was such an amazing talent that could sing any kind of song. Otherwise, you would have gone farther than you did. You deserved the popularity that you didn't get. They took advantage of you. I love you David and miss your performances. RIP my friend.

Love this 85 Albert Hall concert beautiful. Love David's blonde hair period. Love anything about David. I only watched a little so far. Posted it to my FB timeline page so I can watch a little later. Been playing the CD of this concert lately and noticed David's voice had changed. It's a little deeper. Not the Sweet little voice from the 70's but I love it & him. I would like to see more like this. Maybe the 2002 Glasgow concert. Another of my fave concerts. I just posted this video to several of the DC group sites I'm on.

Brings back so many joyous memories! Oh, that summer when "Cherish" was played at the top of EVERY HOUR on my local radio station. Back in the day, you could call on the request line and actually speak to the DJ (no kidding). He had just played it and I wanted to hear it again ( I was 8). It was explained to me that it could only be played once an hour ( by some law). You better believe I waited out that hour, and it WAS played.
David is so very missed. His voice was captivating. RIP David 😢

Well like I've always said God bless David with everything his looks his singing is acting his writing and oh boy that body he was a man among men he was I don't even know how to put him in a category there is no category for him because he's a one alone man and no one could ever be him no one could ever fill his shoes you know when Elvis Presley died there was a lot of men out there imitating him well there was none with David cuz no one could no one could feel that man shoes and a billion years and that even goes for his son he'll never fill his daddy shoes but the other night I heard his brother Sean singing and I was blown away at that I didn't know Sean could sing that good and he does sound a lot like David if anyone could come close it would be Sean Sean and David were very close in a way so I just say I love my dad I had anything and everything to belong to David but at 15 my house burnt down and so did everything go with it I was so heartbroken for over 2 years I and even now I you know I just sometimes I just get so melancholy cuz my all my stuff's gone and I can't replace it those in hell what I had or more aren't willing to share and I can't say I blame them I wouldn't want to give up anything I had I love you David and I know you getting tons of love and having but you've loved a ton behind you love you always Sandra Markley

Can't stop watching it! Just spent my 1/2 hr (rare) lunchbreak watching it! It all came back to me, rememberibg every note and move as I bought the video at the time and watched it over and over etc!
David's voice is breathtaking, at his very best, so rich. Well, that lunchbreak was so invigorating I feel young again and can face this afternoon in the NHS with energy!!!
