I told two of my friends, that I couldn't keep lending them money ,every week that they need to find a second job, because it was getting on my nerves and they have a husband, and I am single and retired
AND it could be your own blood. Your son or daughter!! You raise them and provide for them and sometimes they make the decision to live by their own rules. You tell them there are rules, laws, and morals you have to go by out in this world. They say, yeah right. They get out there and "do the foolish" and run back home with the "why". You tell them there are people out there who DO NOT love you, DO NOT have any interest in your WELL-BEING, DO NOT care what you're trying to accomplish. They say, "but, but, but". I'm telling you Im not going to let you worry me to my grave. I've done my part and then some. I need my peace so go on with that.
Reclaim your time and peace. It's crazy adults will allow themselves to be manipulated by "friends". These people did not raise them, love them nor sacrifice for them. These friends rarely show up to funerals, visit in prison, hospitals or the nursing facility where people's lives are irretrievably altered due to violence. May God be with them and guide them.
Yes, indeed you are 100% correct. I have an aunt who over the past two years has literally cried on the telephone while talking to me about what she did for me as a young child in 1962!😒 Eventhough I have thanked her MULTIPLE times over the years, she STILL feels a need to remind me about what my parents sadly and UNFORTUNATELY DIDN'T do and SHE had to do at 13 yrs.old after my mother left! It really bothers me so much so that I am seeking professional counseling. I also wish to ask her how much and write a check while existing her from my life. Sounds like she also needs counseling. The fact she was put in a responsible position at a young age she blame you instead of the adults who made her be that person. I don't think she dislikes you but keep wanting you to feel the pain she felt during those years. However you were totally innocent and she needs to get therapy so she can finally let it go.

I'm back in Detroit now but I use 2 live in North Carolina for 6yrs back in the 90s and the old mothers of the church in the south use to say "Don't let nobody else's mess-mess you up" I still live by that til this day 💖👌🏾✌🏾
The Bible also says “Carry one another’s burdens”..so it's a fine line. Jesus also said to forgive 70 x 7..We must be careful to not reject people who need us or/and who hurt us. If it's toxic or malicious, that's different. We forgive, but stay away. All I'm saying is don’t be ruthless, because that's not from God, either. Some people have deep trauma and trauma bonds. It's not necessarily about “attention seeking”.

Rotten people also think because you're a Christian, you should be a doormat with no boundaries. Forgiveness is one thing. Reconciliation is another. No one with good sense keeps putting themselves in front of a train to be run over and over again. You can forgive without condition. But that doesn't mean you don't set some ground rules for respect. Reconciliation requires a change of behavior (trust earned).
I was just telling someone this and they got down right sideways with me 🫤. They actually wanted me to take sides and I refused to be drawn into the confusion and recommended another solution and they lashed out at me. If you are leaving any kind of relationship, a big announcement is immature and unnecessary, if you are leaving - just do it 👣. Protect your ✌️ peace and do what is best for you.

I don't really understand the people come for a season thing ...that too people of significance ...all my exs kind of changed my life ....I was cold hearted now I'm more human ....did I waste my time with them ? Probably ....but God used my brokenness too ....i don't want to dismiss my experiences you see ...in everything I learnt trials and temptations
People cone to your life for a reason and for a season darling. Some are like mirrors' they show you areas where you need to work on' they might not neccessarily be sent to be with you for the long haul you take the lessons learned and move on.
